  2. Automatically retry a failed send

    If a text message fails to be sent successfully, you get a notification right away. You can tap the notification and have it retry. Often, it will succeed on the second or third try. Is there a way to get it to automatically retry a few times, maybe once a second for 5 seconds, before alerting us to the failure?

  8. Disable keyboard tap sounds

    I have disabled keyboard sounds in my phone settings. But still get them in Textra on my new phone. Don't know if it is Textra issue or something to do with Google's settings. I would like to turn the sounds off. They drive me nuts. Can you help?

  13. CHAT GROUP TEXT FIX NEEDED!

    HELP! Please fix this problem, so I don't have to delete anymore important messages. The original text might have sent out individually to all in that group/chat as I wanted, even if it sent to each member separately, it'll still send that recipient's response out to everyone in that group. which I DID NOT WANT and if a recipient uses that text to write something new to me cuz they won't see others in that group, it'll still go to everyone in that group. THAT CANNOT CONTINUE TO HAPPEN EITHER!! What a mess!! THIS NEEDS FIXED & REINTRODUCED WITH COMPLETE…

  14. Clean up automated messages

    When I look through my messages, I have TONS of texts that are just security codes, bank notifications, and other automated messages. I need these in the moment, but it's not worth it to me to manually delete them afterwards since there's so many. It makes it hard to find the conversations I'm actually looking for when half the numbers that text me are just companies sending 6 digit verification texts. If there were a way to mark senders or messages like that and filter them, or move them to a folder, or just send them all to the bottom…

  16. working responses after you "send"

    for instance.. you push send and a small message pops up 'sending".... then after the sending is complete a message that says "sent" or it says " failed".

    Gif thumbnails need to show the ENTIRE image. Can't tell you how many times I've sent a gif to someone and then realized after sending it that it has some text on the bottom that is totally irrelevant to my intention.

  19. mark chats as read/unread

    currently, you can only choose to mark all messages as read. I would love to see the functionality to mark a single chat/conversation as read, or unread. This way if Textra is having issues marking the message as read after I've read it (This is an extremely common bug unfortunately), or I choose to respond at a later date, I can mark it as unread after reading it to remember to respond at a later date. This would be an extremely simple function to add, and it would add a lot of missing functionality.

  20. text color

    please allow the ability to change the text color. with only having one option for receiving messages, when you choose a light color, it doesn't work the white text. if you choose a dark color, it doesnt work with black text.
