  1. Indicate photo was received in notification

    When you get a message with a photo as well as text accompanying it, there's no indication that a photo has been received. I often find myself reading a text via the notification and not opening the thread to find that photo. if the notification mentions a new photo is in the thread that would help me realize I need to open the app fully.

    It would be nice to be able to set/customize the sound played when a message is sent.

  3. Fix Twilight bug (emoji kboard)

    I noticed that every time I'm using Twilight or other apps (such as Screen Filter) that 'modify' the appearance of the screen, the emoji keyboard is bugging. For example : When I'm using Twilight, the screen appears red and less bright. But the emoji keyboard doesnt give a shit and still appears bright and in normal color. I guess this is a matter of 'superposition' ? Well anyway it would be great to fix.

  5. File Sharing from phones file manager

    Let me decide what type of files i want to send via mms (pdf, word, excel, mp3, zip, etc.) & make them downloadable & viewable from click menu. Enough said

  6. Try using a KEYWORDS box before the feedback title box... Please?... Please!

    That would suggest existing topic to upvote & comment on, rather than add endless posts about the same things.
    Voting on useful additions is a great concept, however...... 600+ pages of the same ideas isn't helping steer development imho.
    For example, if I search say File Sharing I see over 200 DIFFERENT posts. Each with only a few upvotes.
    If you want to see what your users honestly want, now you have to have someone compile the same ideas from hundreds of posts???

  7. chat-bulk switch

    you should add a switch that you can change between chat and bulk within the message composer. Textnow has this feature and it's great. I always forget to change between the two before composing a message.

  12. Upgrade Textra Bot

    Possible upgrade to the Textra bot:

    When you have a simple question on how to do some, just type a keyword (or something along those lines), and Textra bot will help you out! Like how to change certain settings if you're just having a hard time. I don't know, just a thought!

    Unrelated Addition:
    A neat theme or option would be the color and BG would change color depending on the time of day. I would also include weather, but I'm not sure if that would be difficult to do. Again, a neat thought - I'm not pushing it.

  14. fix issue with stacked notifications

    When Textra stacks notifications in my notification bar, it does not show a notification, rather a blank space. Because of this, if there are no other notifications in the bar besides Textra, the bar appears empty.

    I would like to have a option to type text messages in a larger screen so that it doesn't start scrolling as fast as it currently does. Next SMS has that feature which I like.

  20. messages that stick together.

    like iMessage.
    messages that have been sent within a minute or two of each other, the bubbles will stick together to make a cleaner messaging platform.
    it also helps with the look and feel of the messaging app itself. to make it seem smoother.
