  1. Add a N icon at new added feature

    Please add N icon at new added feature in setting menu so that users can recognize that is new feature. The N icon will disappear after users select the item to see.

    Textra must be default app to send messages. allow Textra to send messages when it is not set as default messaging app

    The notification Pop up style is still the same as Android 6.0. Android 7.0 has a full edge to edge style notification

  4. White Text

    Bring back the white text!!! I am using a yellow theme and once my app updated all the contact names and headlines changed from white to black and I hate it. give me a way to change it!

  7. More subtle sent notifications

    So the "Show sent/delivered" options works pretty well, minus the fact that it pops up very abruptly and with no animation, and it's even worse if it's short message because then it gets shoved to the left by the super long "Delivered" notification.

    I think it should be a small bubble next to the message itself, similar to Allo. Or take the iMessage approach and show it under the most recent group of sent messages.

  8. Nicknames

    It would be cool if a contact has a nickname saved in their contact book (address book) that the nickname gets used instead if the first and last name.

    Would be great if textra was compatible with smart watches as a stock messaging app and not just able to recieve the messages.

  10. Fond d'écran des messages

    je pense que sa serais plutôt cool de pouvoir personnalisé le fond des message au lieu que se soi uni noir, blanc etc... donc je pense que mettre un fond de notre choix galerie etc... serais mieux voilà

    Please optimize the display for 18.5x9 screen ratio. New phones like Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6 have this screen ratio. THANKS! and absolutely love your app! =)

    The day of the week is equally important in timestamp especially when searching for messages for the whole week. Please include an abbreviated day of the week in timestamp. Thanks

    This app would have it all if you were able to customize the color of the unread message count on the textra icon. Not digging the orange that much.. This should be a easy one for you guys... I Love the app and I am a pro user. Just wanted to let you guys know that this is the best texting app out there. Thanks for all you do....

  20. Asus ZenFone 3, Android 7.0: todo for application working

    sur ZenFone 3, pour que l'application fonctionne, il faut impérativement:
    -Paramètres/Batterie/Optimisation de la batterie/Textra: non optimisée
    -Paramètres/Gestion de l'alimentation/Gestionnaire de démarrage automatique/Textra: autorisée
    -Asus mobile manager/Accélerer/Activer la super accélération/Textra: application protégée. A défaut de se paramétrage, les sms se perdent quand le téléphone est en veille

    For Textra working good, you have to do:
    -Parameters/Battery/Optimization/Textra: do not optimize -Parameters/Alimentation/Autostart/Textra: enabled
    -Asus mobile manager/Accelerate/Enable super accélération/Textra: protected. Without these parameters, sms are lost where in sleeping mode
