    Please Samsung S8 has a small bar of notification real nice by the way, it works with WhatsApp and the stock messenger but not with textra witch I love. please if your guys make that happen.

    Total count of messages in a thread like the default messaging app does. Right now we have to swipe each thread to view the count.

  3. photos sent are sometimes kept in cache and previewed. Easy to see, hard to clear.

  4. Merge/Split Conversations and Archive

    Still having an issue where people with the same exact phone number can somehow have two threads under the same number. occurs Everytime I switch SIM or use airplane​ mode extensively. Fixing this in anyway at all is good. Archive feature would rock too.

  6. Video Chat..

    A option to video chat would be very handy to have! Either available to only Textra users or available to any phone capable of video chatting!

  7. Heads-up in app

    If I am already in the app messaging someone and then get a message from someone else, I would like that incoming message to show up in a heads-up notification so I can quick reply without having to leave my current conversation. Heads-up only appears right now if the app is closed

  8. MMS notifications as part of the conversation

    I don't keep my data on all the time, so I often see the Textra notification at the top of my phone that I have an MMS waiting to be downloaded. The problem is that if I accidentally dismiss that notification, I can't tell who sent it to get it back. I'd love to have that MMS waiting message show up as a part of the actual conversation with the person who sent it to me, so I could download it later and not have to worry about the Android notification disappearing forever.

  9. Ability to sync google mail messages with offline reading

    Sync google mail account and read the messages through this app offline then a direct update of gmail messages when online. What I mean is something like gmail message offline reading ...hahaha sorry for my English. Thank you .

  10. added support for customize emoji's

    Install downloaded emoji's save from external memory sd card. The downloaded custom emojis will be easily installed and well then be integrate in this app. There's so many custom emojis out there but one I like is Bruce Lee's emojis ....well that's my idea... thank you !

    Would be nice to have this option if you plan to change your phone and want your messages to go with you over to your new phone :)

    I really love the UI you guys have developed for texting, and was curious as to whether you would think about integrating calling into your program, or at least changing the calling GUI to something more aesthetically pleasing, much like this app. Thanks all
