Emergency Contacts
Would like to see a option to have messages from certain contacts over ride system privacy/sound settings and sound ringtone.. i.e. I have my family on my favorites list to ring through when on do no disturb but i have a specific contact that I would like to ring through no matter what the phone is set to..

select certain words to copy
it would be great if there could be a feature to only select and copy a subset of characters in a text message instead of the whole thing

Notification settings changes not updated getting
Hi team,
I like your very much, i would suggest you to fix a small bug in the app. When ever we change notifications settings it is not getting updated. Notifications comes with default sms app in the phone.Also kindly incorporate popup for new messages on the screen.

Add contacts to search
In the search box, I think you should add "contacts" to the grey list. I like that it searches conversations for keywords but it is also a quick way to find a contact. I kept exiting the app to find a contact because I thought Textra inly searched keywords in conversations.

Swipe to the left
When the notification appears, swipe to the left to mark the message as read and to the right that works as usual

chat heads
Greeting! It would be nice if you can add this another feature, so that you can use textra while another app is open. unlike heads up notification,I would still prefer the chad heads for faster accessiibility. Thank you textra!

Sorting contacts by last name
I text many folks from a work schedule listed by last name. Having Textra also short by last name would be extraordinarily helpful.

image de fond & widget
Ce serait bien de pouvoir personnalisé le fond de l'application & des conversation avec une image de fond comme le font plusieurs application !
Ce serait bien aussi de pouvoir mettre sur nos écran un widget de textra nous permettant d'accéder à nos conversations depuis notre page d'accueil.1 vote -

An option so you can save more than one theme. I want to change things up but it'll be a pain to change it back (colorblind issue).

if you add links like in iMessage this would be hands down the best texting app around!!! when you share a link keep it separate from the actual text!
