  1. How to Save Messages

    You should have an option called (DELETE PASSWORD) or something similar. if you activate the (DELETE PASSWORD) you have to type in a password that you come up with. That way you can always have time to realize what you are deleting and if you want to second guess it. The option should be voluntary and ot would also help if anyone hacks your phone and tries to delete something.

  2. Small customization that makes a big difference

    Customization on Textra is great where it is now, however, there is one customization option that has eluded Textra for quite some time... That option is to add custom backgrounds to threads! Allow us the ability to set an image as a background to conversation threads, please !

    You could add a swipe animation for going from the message thread back to the home screen of all messages.
    Also maybe different message sending animations for when you hit send and the message appears!

    This would be helpful in sorting auto generated sms. Also group SMS SIMwise in dual SIM phones.

  8. Searching Name during composing new text  

    When searching for contact during new text composing, if user search by name, can you only list the contact that match with the letters user is entering. As of now, it also list the contact whose phone number match with the entered letter. For example: Enter SU will list all the contact that has SU, or all the contact that has 78 in the phone number. With this way, user has to enter at least 3 to 4 character to display the right contact, if not user has to scroll all the way down to get the right contact. Thanks

  9. Custom Contact text colors

    Thanks for adding the ability to customize the contact colors. But I can't customize the text colors like I can for the whole app. Yellow with white text is really hard to see!

    It's the only option I'm missing from Go SMS Pro app.
    Timer is there for checking for mistakes in the message. When It's all good would be nice to click the message and it would be sent immediately, bypassing the delay timer.
    Please add this function.

  18. Set Download location

    I think it'd be nice to have the option to set a custom file path for files we download instead of having them squirrled away in Textra>Media>Textra, away from all the other pictures on our devices.

    before creating a new group message allow an easy switch to send to all as a group or individual. the current system makes you go through settings and then you forget and screw up other messages. very annoying
