  5. How to stop deleted messages from showing up in messages

    After I delete messages, the messages return. Figure out a way to avoid deleted messages from returning.

  7. Inform when schedule time is before now

    There can be and am /pm mix up so that the text will go immediately if you choose a.m. instead of p.m. and the scheduled time is before now. If the scheduled time is before now please inform user before sending the text. Otherwise it will go immediately and defeat the whole idea of scheduling.

  8. Display which phone# a Contact is using especially in group thread

    When a group message comes in, and one contact has multiple phone numbers, I cannot determine which phone the a ender is using. Important for contacts who use multiple phones. Need to see which phone number the message is from, rather than just contact name.

  10. Ability to lock a contacts convo to the top of the convo list

    Say you have certain people that you always want their convo at the top of your convo list so you don't have to go searching every time for that specific convo, you know it'll always be right at the top when you open the app

  12. Chat Head Overlay

    We'd like to see a chat head overlay similar to that seen on Facebook's Messenger app. I love the ability to quick respond and pull down the drawer to do so, but having it on screen is a neat aesthetic that I think many users would enjoy.
    Facebook currently offers sending SMS from their messenger chat heads, but its not nearly as intuitive or customizable as Textra. No chat head SMS app currently runs smoothly, and they dont offer anything remotely close to Textras options. I believe it would be wise to tackle this feature before everyone else is running…

  14. Add more screen colors, bubble styles and fonts

    Would love to see more backgrounds aside from just light, dark and black. I personally don't need them, but it would help round out customization. Same with bubbles and fonts. Keep up the great work

  15. Easy "add to contacts" button

    One key feature that I think is missing is an easy add to contacts button when you receive a text from an unknown number. The button would take you right to the built-in "adding a contact" screen with the number already inserted so you only have to add the name to the contact.

  16. Opt out of a conversation, partly or completely, Temporaily or permanently

    You can currently mute a conversation, and this is smart. But this could be enhanced and become much more versatile.

    I suggest to enhance the mute with the ability to (temporarily) set a specific conversation to "silent alerts", or "no notifications" or even "ignore" (new messages are deleted from the thread)

    These options could also be offered for 'unknown senders' against spam.

    In the advanced version it could even be automated so you could select windows in time where it is off/on. Either scheduled, or select a specific mode for the next XX hours.

  17. Move the send button to a safer place

    The send button is very near the right edge of the screen and is very sensitive. Many modern phones has edges that are overly sensitive or/and easy to touch.
    It happens to me all the time that i accidentally touch the far edge of the phone, and thus send the sms prematurelly. This never happens on other text apps like Google Messenger.

  19. The ability to change the entire color scheme of each individual contact, like in Google messenger

    One feature I like about messenger that I would love to see in textra is the ability to change the entire color scheme of each individual contact, not just the bubbles. Also having the ability to change the 'Screen Color' to one color and the heads up to another.
