  2. Searchable conversions

    I have quite a few text conversations with long histories. It would be great to be able to search by keyword (the way one searches via control+f on a computer) to retrieve older information.

  6. Option to override emoticon style per contact

    One feature that would be pretty darn awesome would be the ability to override emoticon style per contact. reason being, that if I know a certain person has an iOS device, and I'm using an Android device, I can set their specific style to use the iOS while having the rest of my emoticons be Android style. Same thing for Samsung devices and whatnot.

  7. Why no sound notification for last person I texted???

    If I text someone and then just hit the home button it doesn't notify me when they text me. The AT&T messaging app does this too and is otherwise fine but that is the main reason I switched to this one. I figured it was a bug but yours does it too. It's a deal breaker for me. If someone thinks this is a good idea still then maybe just have an option to have it notify of all texts to override this bad idea. It might have cost me thousands because I missed 2 customers texting me this month…

  8. Custom led color

    My led color isn't quite what your settings suggest(orange is yellow for instance). I know my phone is capable of orange or any color but on gosms pro I had to use their custom color option. It was simply an RGB slider, one for each color, please implement this. Simple fix and I'd have far more use out of my led.

    So many people have recommend a home screen widget like Google Messenger where you can scroll through conversations and click one to open it.

  14. In messages, have the option to replace phone number with contact name

    If the SMS content contains a contact's phone number, the contact name should be shown as a link to the contact, instead of showing the phone number.
    I received a SMS from my telephone when I have missed calls due to my phone being out of range or switched off. In these messages it currently shows the phone number and I need to copy that and search my contacts to figure out who it is.   17. Set our own background image.

    I would love if we could set our own background image in the message window (like when you click on someone's name and see the history of messages). Preferably, in the future, be able to set a different background for each contact (kind of like how we can override the defaults for certain people). This would make this app so much better than it already is!

  19. Will you ever put the app online so we may send and receive messages when on our computer and pc's?

    If you created a cpu app or a web page where we could still utilize textra while away from our physical phone, it would only bulster why the app is the best
