  1. notification watcher

    It would be great to add a notification watcher, thats to say, whenever i open the app, the notifications should be cleared even if i open the app directly (not through the notification).

  3. Make share text to ... other with other messaging app (messanger, whatsapp, etc, tc)

    I wish i could copy and share message or messages from textra with other apps

  4. Floating notifications do not appear when in conversation

    Not sure if this is a bug. While in a convo if a new sms comes in the floating notification doesn't appear. I guess it's good for keeping you on the task at hand but I'd like to see who's messaging and the message. The floating notification works ever time just not while in a Textra convo. Major inconvenience. Otherwise best sms app.

  7. Reply in notification- keep and group messages

    When we reply in the notification in Nougat it'd be nice if we had the option to keep the message as unread, then when the next message comes it groups the conversation. That's house Google messenger does it. It'd be a nice toggle option

  8. Open chats in full screen automatically.

    I often have to close the chat screen to get back to what I was doing. So having to always click on the menu and select 'open full chat' every time I bring the chat up on my screen is very aggravating. The chat doesn't look right unless it's in full screen mode.

  9. Project Fi

    First off, I love Textra. Have been using it for years and years. Best sms app ever.

    However, when I switched to Project Fi network, I can only send MMS half the time. It bums me out that I have to ask my recipient if they saw the picture.

    For the time, I'm switching to Hangouts. Once you find a patch for Project Fi and MMS, I will switch back to Textra in a heartbeat.

  10. Tell us how to import contacts??

    Just installed textra on a new phone, no contacts showing at all. Samsung Galaxy S7, default phone dialer and default contacts app have everyone showing. What/how do I do?

  11. Randomize contact and chat colours

    Let Textra assign a random colour to each contact so each chat will be a different colour. The bar at the top of each conversation should also match the contact colour to avoid clashing.
    Google messenger does this very well and having many colours makes it a lot more enjoyable to use.

  13. Multiple color options

    In a MMS conversation with multiple people in it, I would love each contact to have a different color bubble so I could easily see who is send a message.

  14. disable draft messages when only the spacebar is pressed. I know it sounds crazy, but I've done this so many times!

    this should also have an on/off option, for those who want drafts starting with blank spaces.

  15. Be able to send read receipts, see if your message has been read, and see when someone is typing

    This is cool and you should have the option to turn it on or off just like the iphone or AT&T new advanced messaging.

  16. Hit enter to send could be changed to send when ready.

    I like that you guys have a delay before send option and I use it faithfully. Pretty much why I downloaded the app. Problem is, I use it for proof reading when I send a text. Sometimes I writetext a small paragraph and sometimes I don't. I set for about 6 or more seconds just in case I send a paragraph, but when just saying hi, you have to wait out the remainder of the time.   17. Provide a way to auto-reply to a group message, indicating that 'this recipient does not accept group messages'.

    This way, you can effectively turn off the group message feature.
