  2. The app is nice but I cant receive messages if the app is closed or not in use. Cant even receive messages if my phone is locked.

  3. How can i compress my Textra Database

    My textra database has grown to over 10 GB. I know there are a lot of photos and videos that make up most of the data base. Is there a way to purge photos and videos? I would like to purge from certain date range if possible.

  4. To rotate pic directly in app not in gallery,

    I receive a lot of pics on documents. In the most of the times they are not in right direction for reading. Much more easy for us will be if can rotate the pisc directly when we wach them not in gallery. A saw this option in another app and I think is very helpfull

  5. Prioritize contacts

    When sharing to Textra, I have to type in my contacts name to find them. Is there a way to prioritize contacts by those that are marked "favorites" in contacts?

  6. Remove location tracking from latest update

    A texting app does not need to track a person's location and it is a privacy invasive permission. I will not install this update until this is removed.

  8. Option to mute sound while in a conversation doesn't always work.

    I guess i was wrong. In your older version when you were in a conversation, the option to mute sound worked even if the display was off. I thought this was too much.
    But now, it barely works. The sound only mutes sometimes. I can be holding my phone and in a conversation and it still makes a sound. Not sure why????

  9. Option to show full message in quick reply when phone is unlocked but not when phone is locked.

    This allows users who want to use quick reply to do so without giving up the lock screen privacy offered by the "no message preview" option.

  16. choose an image save location

    it would be nice if i had the ability to select a specific save location for the images received and saved/auto saved to my phone from all my sms/mms convos within textra. im tired of having to launch the built in file manager and navigating to the textra folder only to cut and paste all those saved images from the textra folder into my phones standard downloads folder so my gallery doesnt look a mess with the albums and such that have been created by android and myself. that would be a very nice feature to enable the option of…

  18. Add share option to save imp messages with other note making apps like keep etc.

    It would be nice the option besides the copy , forward options. It saves lot of time to save imp messages directly.

  19. Different Colors for Contacts in Group Messages

    I love the Textra app, but I just have one bit of feedback. Can you add the feature of selecting the color of the contact and having it show up in group messages? Google Messenger does a great job of that and would love to see that feature in Textra!
