  1. Allow custom colors for each individual contact.

    Allow users to change the color of the bubble of each contact within your conversation list to help differentiate between people.

  2. Setting a photo as a backround of messaging

    Inside a mesage where the chat bubbles are, be able to set a photo as the backround. Either a general photo in the background or the ability to set different ones for different chats or groups

  3. Being able to name group chats with non textra users or iphone users?

    Instead of having a bunch of names in one group of the messages list, be able to name the group, at least for your own personal view, not necessarily iphone users view or non textra users view.

  4. Animation to go back

    I'd really like to see an animation to go back as in apps like Telegram or awSMS. Now when we swipe to go back it doesn't feel as natural and doesn't look as cool. Please think about this.

  7. Block SMS with filtered words

    It would be great to block sms that contains filtered words for spam messages. (Unknown numbers selling products and offering fake loans) Thanks!

  8. my idea is about the plus icon in the lower right

    i like in fb messenger when you click the + button in the lower right you get "make call, search, and new message. could textra have this too? i hate reaching for the search button on the upper right on my 6p.

  10. Keep keyboard locked until you tap enter message.

    Ñow, when you are scrolling to read message and reach the end and not through reading the Keyboard pops up. Keyboard should stay locked down until toggled up by tapping "enter message".

  14. Option to show only contacts from specific accounts. Galaxy S7 set to show only some accounts. Textra ignores that

    I would like to only be able to text contacts from specific accounts. I configured the Samsung Galaxy S7 to only show contacts from 2 of my 7 accounts. Phone indeed only shows contacts from the 2 accounts. Textra however shows contacts from all 7 accounts, which I don't want

  16. To have my contacts appear as a bubble when I receive a message.

    Just like Facebook's messenger, have the option to have your contacts appear as bubbles outside of Textra so that I can send texts when I am on a different app. And be able to switch from one bubble contact to another.
