  2. Dual Window for LG phones

    It's not hard for the developers. LG has an easy guide for developers and its easy. This would be a great feature for LG phones and even Samsung phones should get multi window too.

  3. Allow a new message to be typed while send delay is still counting down

    Evolve SMS does this, for instance. It's the best if both worlds, giving the safety net of delayed send while not making you actually wait before composing your next reply in the same conversation. Check it out. You could do better.

  4. Cannot send pics, screenshots or files

    Error message always. Tap to resend. I lowered the file size in my camera so size should not be an issue. On wi-fi and updated new textra version on my phone. Very frustrating. Please help.

    It is notorious problem with Textra! It is a serious issue, I do not understand why you still haven't solved it..

    2-4 word sms stays unsent until next sms to the same person is being sent! Shame!

  10. Create visual groups in in conversation list. This way you can split your contacts into personal and business and avoid making embarrassing

    Visual groupings- be nice to create a divider in the first app window where you see your text contacts and split them up between business and personal if you use your phone for both. This way your able to organize your text conversations and not make a mistake sending a possible embarrassing text to a biz associate. Look something like this:

    Some kind of divider and be able to rearrange contacts within those dividers. Great, app guys thanks a ton!

    It wont send any pics that are taken in Landscape mode. Even when I went to settings and changed it to send ALL messages regardless of how large they are.

  12. When taking a photo, allow the picture to be expanded to fill the screen after it is taken.

    When taking a photo, you can expand the image to fill the screen before the photo is taken. But once taken, it displays it as a thumbnail size. It would be helpful to be able to expand this to full screen size to see what it looks like prior to sending.

  13. Add a date stamp to the message. Presently, sliding the messages to the left reveal just the time. Seeing the date would be very helpful.

    Hey ! I think it would be great if we can have a widget for this app, possibly the same as the sms widget of Android (the one on the Galaxy S6 Edge). Because I used to like this widget but then I download Textra (such a good app) and I can't text by this widget anymore.

  16. Replace or enhance 'Later' option with a snooze option

    When a new message arrives, the 'Later' option in the menu is useful and a feature I've not seen in other SMS apps. However, I think it could be made better still. My problem with the current feature is that the notification remains in the tray, and the notification light keeps on flashing, so when I glance at my phone I can't tell if I've missed a new notification or if it's the original message that I want to deal with later. And sometimes later can mean many hours later, e.g. when I get home from work.

    Android has yet to fully support Unicode 8 emojis, but ios devices have them and being able to view and send them is super valuable.

  20. Contact Customization in the message List

    I tried out Messenger just now, and it's getting better, but it's still a far cry from Textra. However, I noticed that it has different colors for each contact icon (their initials) in the message list. It would be great if Textra would propagate the color I've selected for a contact's text bubbles up to the initials in the message list.

    At the same time, it would be great to see either a global or per-contact setting whether to show the contact's picture. To be honest, there are just some people whose face I don't want to see all the…
