  1. Option to customize bubble color per contact (would make identifying who said what in groupchats easier)

    Right now all the bubble colors are the same for all contacts, which makes it difficult to identify who said what in a group chat. The only distinguishing characteristic is the person's name slightly transparent above the message, so either adding the option to customize bubble color per contact or adding the person's contact photo next to their name would make things a lot easier in my opinion

  2. Missing sms when data disabled

    I'm finding that when i turn off wifi and data, I often get a message saying an mms has been sent and i can't view it. Of course, this is expected. However, instead of just missing mms messages (from group chats), I also miss a few sms messages (from individual contacts). This only happens when I disable wifi and data. Is there an sms issue when data is disabled?

  5. temporarily turn 3g on and more customizing

    Temp turn 3g on so i can send and receive pics without having to keep it on all the time or remember to do it so they can come on through automatically and also being able to customize by importing downloaded fonts and other stuff. (like chomp sms)

  6. sound

    When my media volume is down but phone volume is up I can't hear texts coming in. I like to play games on silent but like to be notified when I have a text. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 if that helps.

  8. Text doesnt come through when on phone settings

    When in the app in a conversation and I pull the settings bar down and I believe I am getting a text, I receive the vibrate notification but no new text is to be found. It has happened twice and both times it was a text from the conversation I was in that didn't come through.

  9. Fix bug with overriding "none" android notification level

    If I set the notifaction level for the whole Android device to "none" instead of "priority" or "all", I still receive every alert from Textra. It appears that Textra completely ignores this setting

  10. Textra keeps sending longer sms twice.

    When i' m writing longer sms - like doubl ed or triple textra keep sending the twice.so i acctualy ha ve to pay for 4 or 6 messages:/ does this app gets any tech support? I dont see anyone responding to our complaints...

  11. Avoid Double Punctuation

    Hey Team! So I have my settings adjusted to automatically add a period at the end of a sentence when I double-tap the space bar. The issue is that if I end a sentence with a question mark (?) or exclamation point (!) it still adds a period afterward. I would love to see it recognize that there is already punctuation and not add the period, similar to how my iPhone works.

  15. Randomly switching sound notification

    I've set Textra to use the Hangout notification sound but randomly it will switch it back to 13709 (which actually doesn't make any sound). I'm not sure rather the problem comes from my phone but this is getting pretty annoying (it already happened to me 4-5 times within the last couple of months).
    Is someone else having the same problem?

  16. Sometimes we do not want people to know our cell number and then we use alternate phone number giving by other apps

    In my case I do not want people to know my real cell number so I use other apps like ringto or a similar app that gives me a phone number other than my real cell number, your app has an option to change the number however when sending a file or text my real number shows up and if that is what your app does then why should I use your app?

  20. I'm receiving messages 3-5 minutes later than they were sent. please help
