  4. Improve floating notification

    Possibility to display (with an option?) in the floating notification all the message and not just the first line.
    Personnaly I have to use an other app (floating notification and others) just in order to display all the text.
    Is it possible?
    To be perfect, if it’s possible to display on floating notification for each contact? (if we receive several sms from several contacts)
    The same if it's possible to adjust the floating notification just under the notification bar.
    In my opinion,with thoses functionalities, Textra will be the best SMS app!!!

  8. Ability to disable auto retrieve because of mms malware virus

    I was warned via my security app that there is an issue with android phones being I fected with malware through being sent a video file that auto loads to the phone when received. On most messaging apps you can disable this feature, I cannot find a way to disable this on textra.

    Have it so unknown numbers go into a 'stranger' folder and allow the user to create folders such as best friends/work/gym.

  11. Add additional contacts to a MMS thread

    It is extremely frustrating whenever I think I have added everyone into a certain thread but then I come to find out that I have left out one person.

    It would be extremely useful to be able to simply add one more contact to a thread is already existing

  13. contextual launch from notification.

    Love Textra, but one thing is so annoying, that makes me send message to the wrong people.

    After sending a text, if you don't go back to the contacts list and close Textra, it remembers the last screen, which is very neat, except that on next message arrival, if you launch Textra from the notification, it will launch it in the remembered state, which is often on the wrong contact.

    At best it would be great if the launch was contextual and opened to the contact you received the last text from.
    If that can't be done easily, at list…

    I would love if I was able to change the color of text within the bubble. I don't like how the app automatically chooses black or white. I would like to have the option of the color myself.

  18. Avatar pictures next to text messages

    Textra should really consider adding avatar pictures next to text messages. Makes it much easier to identify who is saying what in a message. QKSMS works this way as does stock Samsung message and it works great. At least make it an option.

  20. Ability to turn off "swipe to call" from the message list.

    I'm constantly butt dialing from the main message list because of accidental swipes. Is there any way to prevent that? Thanks!
