  1. option for "sent message" notification sound & volume

    If you choose "sent message" notification now it's a default sound and volume. I don't particularly care the sound, but even more, I think it's too loud under certain circumstances. Thank you!

  2. daily auto backup

    Won't it be great if daily auto backup feature is added in textra just like WhatsApp so that after reinstallation or factory reset all messages can be restored? Waiting for this feature because I lost all my messages in factory reset.

  3. Ability to use Gallery pics as Backgrounds.

    Would be cool to use Gallery pics for Backgrounds like the stock app and be able to set my own vibration pattern/length.

  4. allow send sms to many contact

    I see now we miss this function. It require send by mms when i send to many people. But i just only need to send a sms to these ones. So i think it will very helpful if TextraSMS support this fuction

  7. Add call feature by holding the phone up to your face

    In the default messaging app if I have a conversation up on screen and then hold the phone up to my ear my phone will auto dial the person I was texting.

  8. Awesome app! We bought it because it rocks, but there are bugs...

    Clicking on a notification locks the orientation in tall mode, and when I slide my keyboard open, the screen does not re-orient. Only way to fix this is to exit, click the Textra icon, open the app, and it ends up being focused on the last person I text. I have to back up, select the person that just text me, then I can proceed. It is very VERY frustrating!! I have sent "I LOVE YOU"'s meant for my wife to numerous clients and it is embarrassing! lol Please fix this!!!!

  9. Option to choose different sound for repeat notifications?

    It would help me to understand that it's just a reminder. That way I can remain focused on my task without the interruption of conversations that can wait.

    There should be an option to display the timestamp in hours, mins, and seconds format. Crucial for time sensitive messages.

    Automatic ASCII conversion to emojis has been turned off due to incompatibilities. Would it be possible to let the user to turn this on? And add a warning message if there are some issues the users can deactivate it?

  17. Open to incoming message

    When a new incoming message is received, the app should open to that incoming message, not the thread that I last sent something from. I sometimes have to back out two levels then go into the message list from the most recent sender.

    Because this is not the default, it's far too easy to reply back to the wrong person after seeing the text popup on the lock screen, reading it, going into textra and then replying to the person I had last sent to someone because that's where it opens to. One of these days it's going to be…

  19. create password and username for backup reasons.

    Create password and username so if the app gets deleted you can log back into the app and still have all of your texts.

  20. Option to launch the app instead of a single message from notification bar

    When there's an unread text in the notification bar, clicking on that notification opens that text in a popup over the home screen. I'd like an option to launch the full app rather than just the partial screen popup.
