  1. Disable message sending\viewing if phone is locked.

    When I receive a message I can reply to it even if my phone is locked. I'd like the ability to disable this as someone other than me is able to view and respond to messages if I've left my phone unattended.

  2. Add Per Contact Settings option to the conversation screen

    Right now, the only way to access Per Contact Settings is by long-pressing on a conversation. The instinctive place to look is inside in the menu once inside of a conversation. Currently, clicking the contact's display picture in the top-right shows a contact card and a Call button. I think this would be the perfect, and once again most intuitive, place to add access to Per Contact Settings.

  3. Get rid of annoying emoji menu

    Please get rid of the recently added feature where the emoji menu expands outward instead of scrolling through. It makes emojis difficult to locate, and lags on my phone, which is older and slower. This annoying addition is making me consider switching away from textra, which I otherwise love.

  4. A typing feature

    I'm a slower typer and always seem to get interrupted in the middle of a thought. I would like a feature that let's people know I'm tying and not to intrrupt . Even if the feature is only for people who own this app I would be very grateful and tell my friends to download it. Thanks I love it otherwise!

  5. MightyText: Remove Notification, Mark as Read

    I'm posting this here, since "Full Support for MightyText" is "marked complete."

    Clicking a MightyText notification in Chrome (desktop) should also mark the SMS as read in Textra and remove the notification (phone).

    allow the used a button when long pressing on a gallery image to hide the image in the gallery selections, so that textra doesn't display the image to be sent

    2) To exclude one/ some contacts of the group from receiving that particular message.

  16. I would like to see an option to select whether or not the keyboard should pop up when opening an sms. Currently it pops up automatically.

    It's quite annoying to have the keyboard opening up automatically because not every sms is one I want to respond to immediately. Like sms's from the bank or service providers. BBM integrated that option due to people complaining. I'm sure the devs can integrate this option into this great app?? I personally like to tap on the bar to open the keyboard myself. And surely I can't be the only one. Sometimes when I receive long sms and the pop up notification appears I have to minimise the keyboard first to be able to read the sms properly.

  18. View Pictures Received on Wearables

    Display pictures received on the Android Wearables (ie. Watch). The hangouts app currently allows you to see pictures received -- it's a very neat and convenient feature.

  19. Remove timestamp from wearable interface

    Remove the timestamp from notifications received on wearable devices (ie. Android Watch). The timestamp takes up a considerable amount of space on an already very small screen.

  20. create a line on top to show few favorite contacts

    Please create a line on top to show and add favorite contacts. This way, when one opens Textra, the names and pics of the favorite contacts are displaying. The samsung stock msg app has that feature.
