  1. change the background of the text screen and more font options

    To be able to use a picture from your phone or the Internet as a background to texting. Also more fun fonts would be a great idea, since there are limited boring options.

  2. Donation

    I love Textra, but there is a distinct lacking of any paid apps or donation options. I have plenty of Play Store credit laying around and I would love to support the devs that make one of my most used apps!

  4. Adopt gesture + template as in Cyanogen 's SMS app.

    Lots and lots of apps out there, all of them bloated with not very useful stuff, and yet this simple and vital idea just not shows up : recording of gestures to specific text. In other words, I draw a "g" and "Going out right now" is pasted. Really like your app, could you please look into it? Thx The

  6. Send now button for use with delayed send.

    I love the new delayed send feature and have it on by default, but it would be nice to have a convesational/thread override. If you are in the middle of a conversation that requires quick interaction, it would be nice to have a 'send now' button above the countdown timer.

  7. "Full texting field" for long texts.

    The texting field is very small and its no good for long texts so this is a very good idea. Would be great with an option to change the field to a "full field view". Like the one in Hangouts would be useful. It would make it possible to write long texts and easy to see/read and edit typos and more.

  8. single notification for all unread messages

    Please provide the option for just a single notification sound (or vibration) for the first new unread message that comes in. This option would suppress all further notifications until I read the messages or clear the notifications. Then I'd again get just one notification. Android GMail has this option.

    If I have the phone nearby when I'm trying to sleep, I don't want a cascade of sounds if a late night texting stream starts going. One notification is enough... then I can choose whether to look at it or ignore it, without being bothered by additional notifications if I ignore…

  11. Cool app. Would be sweet if there was a setting that on the lock screen it shows just a contact, but unlocked notification shows the text.
