  1. Nexus 5, Android 5 - Priority Mode Issue

    Nexus 5, Android 5, Textra as standard SMS app:

    Textra ignores Priority Mode. Even with Priority Mode on (and messages set as not important/not a priority - meaning: phone shouldn't beep for SMS in Priority Mode) Textra plays notification sound anyway when SMS arrives.

    That's pretty bad, because at night one switches to Priority Mode, since this is the mode that allows the alarm to wake me up in the morning.

  2. Option to have emoji button on keyboard or enter button on keyboard as default.

    Currently the only option is to have the enter button on the keyboard. In order to get to emoji symbols you have to hold it down and slide up to access emojis. I would like an option to choose between a default of enter or emoji on the keyboard.

  8. Please allow us to change the font

    Please enable us to choose a font installed on our phones or our default font to be used for Textra! This would be wonderful because I LOVE the font on my phone but I can't use it while texting :( Thank you for your consideration! :)

  11. Keep notification in notification bar

    keep notification in notification bar when phone is locked. if the app is open and the phone locks you don't get notified when you turn the phone on because the app is open. I have to unlock the phone to see if I received a message. It would be nice if the notification stayed in the notification bar until you click on the box to type.

  12. Please add option to not auto open keyboard on quick reply / app open from notification

    Hi,

    When you click on a Textra notification it either opens up the quick reply popup or the full app, depending on your settings. In both cases it auto opens the keyboard to enter a reply. On my small screen with a tall keyboard this generally obscures all but the last line of the txt just received and I have to always press "back" to hide the keyboard and be able to read what just arrived!

  16. ability to add contact to address book from text

    I get a text from a new number, and rather than just clicking the number to say "add to address book" or "add to contacts," whatever, I have to copy the number, open the address book, paste the number, and add the contact. I don't understand why I can't avoid the copy/pasting and have Textra open a "new contact" in my address book for me.

  17. Google/Hangouts emoticons

    The only emoticon pack available is the iOS emoji, which is terrible. I love the app but I can't get past those awful unexpressive emoji. It would be great to be able to use the hangouts faces..I'd hate to have to pass on a great app over something so trivial that should have been included to begin with.
