  5. Make it so you can change your background to a gallery image. I love that feature, it's the one thing that bums me out about Textra.

  7. Quick Compose - switching off and on

    Every time when I try to send an SMS message from inside other app (for example phone dialer, contact card, etc) it launches Quick Compose. I would prefer to launch full Textra app not Quick Compose window. But there is no such an option inside Textra to switch quick compose off completely (it allows only to switch it off for drawer messages). So from the Phone app or contacts I HAVE TO use Quick Compose, can't even switch to full Textra. Can this be changed? I would like to have Quick Compose" as an alternative but to launch full Textra…

  8. Ability to install a different font or even use my system font!!

    I just installed Textra and I love it!! Except that it doesn't even use my system font! I just want to be able to read my messages without having to squint to see them ....

  9. Display text messages notifications on lock screen

    The app only has an option for floating notifications. There should be a setting for normal notifications in the notification bar/menu and in the lock screen just like how the stock messages app is.

  10. Dual chip support

    Textra need to support dual chip phones.. and have to go a option in settings, something like "dual chip" with three diferents options.. option 1: send message always with SIM1, option 2: send message always with SIM2, option 3: when will send message ask which SIM to use

  11. allow me to recalibrate my swipes.

    when I originally had the app on my HTC, I almost never had to go back and correct swipe mistakes. now, every time I swipe you it brings up typy or toy. it's infuriating. simple words are now difficult for me to swipe on my new gs5. I love this app too!

  14. Notification panel have the option to quick reply or open conversation.

    I like that I can do a quick reply. Love it. But instead of open the quick reply the selecting to open app, have that option under the message in the notification panel.

  15. quick reply (pop up, not in textra) should allow more than one text to be sent back before closing!

    When notifications pop up, Quick Reply is super fast and easy. But as a teenager, I tend to send more than just one line of text at a time. it is rather inconvenient to have to open up the app after the first line. Thanks!

  20. Predefined messages in quick reply. User defines the messages, but maybe start with some examples like "Yes", " No" or "I love you".

    You could use the + menu and/or have the list scrollable (no more than one or two messages to visually choose from at a time so as to not take up too much space).
