suspend screen sleep when playing audio msgs
audio msgs work great, however textra doesn't hold the phone captive from going to sleep/screen off when playing them back.

Arbitrary send delay
I would like to be able to schedule a message send out on some calendar, or at least via an hours minutes timer. at this point, text has become the standard for short format notes. But unlike email, it tends to be intrusive. use case. a birthday greeting , where I'm on a night schedule and I don't want to wake the recipient. maybe even tag the message with a user set footnote that the text was queued x hours ago and the sender may not be active at present. yea, I know. email... but so many people just aren't…

When using Dual Sim, force reply from the Sim receiving the original message
Makes it harder to reply from the wrong sim when using a Dual Sim setup. Default setting would be to reply from the Sim receiving the original message, while still allowing this setting to be overridden when necessary.

IMPORTANT
When your texting in an active gc and someone's texts u privately in the gc to hold the text bubble and respond there so u and them can see ur response than it getting crazy js like iphones do. It would be great for this new feature

at&t provides a 4 digit number to forward spam messages to. this works in android default messaging app and would be nice to have in textra.

be able to add reactions to images or gifs
when you tap on a text you can add a reaction emoji and i think itd be cool if you could do that for a gif/pic, maybe by having the option ehen holding down on the image for a second

Diactricts rules based on SIM card
Hello,
I have phone with two simcards. Maybe that will be possible to add options to set diactricts rules based on SIM card. I mean when I send using SIM1 then don't touch diactricts, but when SIM2 then replace diactricts to reduce sms count.1 vote -

Recipient "Read" Notifications
Hello. First of all, I really like this app so thank you for creating it. I would love to see you add a "read" notification feature that indicates when a recipient read your message along with date and time when they read it. Thanks 😊

iPhone emoji image response to android phone
While it would be great to see an iPhone emoji response directly on an image that an Android user sent to them, a good MVP would be the response at least denoting which image the iPhone user is responding to. If I send three images to someone, and they like one of them, I received [liked an image], but I don't know which one. It would be nice if there was some sort of anchor or text that describes which image the iPhone user liked.

Ability to emoji response to images photos and gifs
I love the ability to give an emoji response to text messages I received, but it would be great to also be able to do the same for images, photos, etc.

Temporary SMS Contact Names
Saving a temporary name or title to a string of SMS. When deleted, these are just gone.
I have a small business with many many texts from individuals I will never save into my permanent phonebook. A temporary identity would significantly help the organization of my inbox.
