  1. show number of texts per person in contact list next to each contact

    when you first open Textra, and you see each contact that you've been texting, to see a total of texts for each person would be nice. GoSms has that feature. that being said, I much prefer Textra over Gosms.thank you

  2. Textra suggestions

    Textra is a great app — fast, smooth, simple, and customizable. I'd love to see it improve even more. Here are some suggestions:
    • Display unread count in conversation list.
    • In the conversation list, for group messages, display initials for contacts without pictures.
    • In conversation list, have option to display newest conversations at the bottom (consistent with message view, easier to reach with one hand).
    • In conversation list, swipe right to archive conversation (hides it from list).
    • Options to change incoming text color, outgoing text color, timestamp color, bubble color, primary color, accent color, and background…

  7. Swiping away the notification in the pull down does not mark the message as read.

    Right now, when you swipe away the notification, the text gets marked as read. I would like the option to chose whether the message get marked as read or not.

  8. Change The Floating Action Button Color

    Allow us to change the color of the floating action button as well, I think it would be a cool and easy way to further personalize the app with choice of color! Just a thought.

    optional of having the contacts in a list form, instead of how it is know ,and have the individual options in the settings. It would be so much easier the way go sms pro has .And some new bubble styles would be cool

  12. Tap contact photo in conversation list to bring up contact info

    Instead of having to be in the conversation, I like to bring up the contact (to call them, etc) information when I tap their photo.

  13. Enable a subtle message received sound when in conversation

    Allow users to turn on a sound (a subtle one similar to the message sent sound) when a message is received within in a conversation.

    I'd like the ability to have the pop up notification match the color theme I have set in the app. At the very least, I'd like to be able to turn off the dark theme.

  15. Allow filtering of contacts so that only contacts from a certain account are shown

    I know that I can filter for "mobile contacts only" (which is a great feature, good job textra) but I don't want my built in contacts (like AT&T music listener) to show up either

    Its not as transparent and I understand the design they're trying to go for with the Android L and everything but it would complete the clean look if they made the notification bar more transparent

  17. Archive, bigger contact photos, pop up interface, privacy lock, native emojis, schedule sms

    Bigger pictures especially the contact photo at the top right corner on the conversation list <3 also add a feature like on the fb messenger please :) can u please use the android emojis like on the hangouts and add archive and scheduled sms feature..
