  1. Higher resolution notification icon(s)

    Aesthetically speaking, the Textra notification drawer icons are generally fuzzier than all other notification icons. Don't know if this is an easy change, but think a crisper icon would really set it off since it catches our eyes so often.

    in dark mode theme When click on Conversation that's Green doesn't have a good view in Dark mode .

    Hi, I wanted to say that your app is good But it's touching not working So well for instance when touch on space place to Open the virtual Keyboard some time doesn't work .

  4. Single thread for a contact with multiple numbers

    I have friends with several mobile numbers (i.e. private, work, private2..) and so it is very convinient to have all the contacts' numbers in one thread.
    Actually it was a surprise when I moved from HTC's native sms app which handled multiple numbers to 3rd party apps which couldn't (except the one I found through forums - Messages+).
    Also it would help to keep your conversation list clean from your carrier. Because I have 20 numbers from which the carrier attacks me with his ads.

  5. Split group sms thread

    When you send a group sms message the recipient answers directly to you because he sees it as a standalone message.
    So I think it would be convinient to have an option to split outgoing group message into each contacts' threads.

  6. "Don't Auto Open Keyboard on Quick Compose Screen" Option

    On my phone my keyboard is pretty tall, so when I go to send an image or quick compose, I can only see a few of my "favorites" icons in a row or so. I have to close my keyboard, then press the icon(s)/face(s) to send to, then re-open the keyboard.

    What would be great is if the keyboard didn't automatically start open on the Quick Compose screen. 99% of my texts are sent to my "favorites" who have icons to click on anyway. So the keyboard would then open if you clicked IN the recipient box (rather than a…

  7. Allow rotating an image when viewing

    When viewing images it would be very nice to be able to rotate the picture to correct the orientation. If you have auto rotate on for your phone some images are very difficult to get right side up depending on how it was taken. A rotate button in the corner to quickly rotate the image would be a great help.

  8. manual download for MMS, and not auto

    is it possible to add an option, to have the choice between, auto download pictures in MMS, or manual download.
    for now, pictures are always download when you open the conversation.
    i receive MMS but i dont want to open the pictures now.
    i want to open it when i want.

    I like the sliding timestamp on the right idea but I prefer the old timestamp above each sms more. Please give us the option to change the timestamps on sms conversations.

  10. Stock lockscreen notification

    Stock messaging, voicemail, dialer, etc on my Galaxy S4 show a notification on my lock screen which I can tap, unlock the phone, and it takes me to that message in the app.
    This is the only feature I miss using Textra; being able to see the contact and preview text on the lock screen itself without needing to drag down the notification bar just to see who it is from and what it says.
    This feature (I believe) exists on all Galaxy phones running android 4.3 and up.

    An option exist to show or hind the text message in notification bar.

    that can be great if you can add a feature to :

    It would be awesome if when you long-press on a message, you can mark it as unread.

    In my case this is useful because that way It reminds me that this specific message is important.

  13. Passcode Lock

    Textra is amazing on my device and BLOWS GoSMS(which I use) out of the water. However the ONLY feature holding me back is the lack of privacy due to no security over the inbox such as a pass code. If this feature could be implemented im sure myself and many others would make the jump official!

  14. Pebble Integration

    I'd love a checkbox that would send notification to a Pebble smartwatch. It doesn't seem as though Pebble picks up Textra as Textra essentially disables the stock SMS notifications that Pebble uses to forward to the phone, and even third party notification apps can't seem to access Textra's notifications to bypass this limitation. Native integration would be fantastic!

    Hey, this is brilliant idea....
    Anyway option/Menu button is idle while using textra. You can make it to open batch mode in both conversation & conversation list.

  18. Option to save pictures taken to the Gallery. Ones, I take, not pictures received.

    Currently, if you take a picture within the app, the picture is only in that thread. It is not automatically added to the Gallery. You have to tap on the picture and manually save it. By default it will go to your downloads folder instead of the gallery. There is only an option to autosave incoming pictures and videos to the gallery.

    I'm asking for an option to autosave outgoing pictures and videos to the gallery.

  19. More emoji compatibility

    So the emoji work iPhone but a bunch of my friend use evolve sms and the emoji are not compatible it just shows up as bunch of random letters and symbols. If there is a way where it could be universal it would be fantastic
