Custom names for group chats
One of the features I miss after transitioning from Signal Messaging is the ability to name group chats. In Textra's list of discussions, groups show up as a truncated list of members. I often have separate discussions with different subsets of people (family, siblings, coworkers, team members). A custom name allows me to track all members of the group and what's being discussed.

messages from blocked numbers still give unread message count
I don't think this is an idea as much as it is a bug. I noticed I had a number count of unread messages that didn't match my actual unread messages. after I went through my blocked messages and viewed every conversation, the message count matched

Screen Resolution change
Currently, when changing the screen resolution on a Samsung phone, the entire app will change the scale of fonts, menus, and contact photos. This happens whether the app is active, in sleep mode, or otherwise. The only solution I've found is to force the app to quit and reload. It'd be nice for it to rescale automatically when the resolution changes. This is currently the only app on my device that acts this way.

No way google in Feb 2023 update
Just updated to the latest version on 2/20/2023. I recall seeing something about google integration, and lo and behold!!!: NOW I HAVE TO REMAINED LOGGED INTO GOOGLE FOR THIS TO WORK, OTHERWISE TEXTRA LAUNCHES GOOGLE PLAY STORE STORE TO FORCE LOG IN! This is a deal breaker, Textra just crashed from a 5 star rating to 0. I do not want to be part of the google ecosystem & have gone out of my way to avoid their apps due to privacy concerns. Should have left well enough alone, now it's broken!

Text snooze
Please implement a snooze feature like there is in Gmail. This allows the user to push messages to a future date and not have them clutter the message list.

Label Group Chats
my previous app allowed the labeling of group chats, which was great when trying to keep track of multiple threads throughout the day..and you could easily retrieve chats by searching for them by name. this would be a great addition to the app. Also It would be nice to be able to copy a section of a text rather than the whole thing.

Copy group/chat customization to another.
I have multiple groups a lot of them are from work so I have changed the textra icon and notification settings (like clearing the notification marks those messages as read). It's very hard to do this for new groups exactly like it is in the previous groups.

Remove connection to Google Play
Hi there, since the latest version 4.60 textra is linked to Google Play. I had to remove this version and installed 4.59 because my phone is almost Google free. I hope you will remove this link so that textra could be used again. Thank you, Stoneubi

msgs sent from [Web]
Msgs sent from web just displayed in the list as [Web].... .
It will be better to show extra several characters follwing [Web], like [Web]Visa Card sents you....
The phone number related to the msgs sent fron web is not recognizable, nir stored in the phone.
By showing extra characters, users can recognize the senders.

Revert to old read unread text
new version of read vs unread texts in main page is very poor, looks messy, can't quickly ascertain what has or has not been read with bold unbold format
