Folders to group contacts
I'd like the ability to create a "Folder" or "Group" so I can add all my family into one "Folder" called Family , one "Folder" for spam or unknown contacts.

Wifi Egg
A WiFi egg, like a pocket WiFi, is a compact, battery-powered device that connects to cellular data networks to provide wireless internet access. It creates a WiFi hotspot that allows multiple devices, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, or other gadgets, to connect and access the internet on the go. More info: https://yoowifi.com/

Conversation List display spacing
The Conversation List seems to have two blank lines between each conversation, it would be great if it could be reduced to one blank line. More conversations could be displayed before needing to scroll. Thank you

Ability to Separate Group Chats
It'd be nice to have an option to isolate group chats on one page, and then text conversations on the "main" page.

Different layouts for favorite contacts at the top
So to be honest Apples default Messenger, text app is way way way more convenient than anything Android because you have huge bubbles at the top of your main people. So my request is can you change the layout as an option so we can have our top people at the top or frequently favorite contacts in a side by side grid.
Also why can't I react to an image someone sends me? I can react to a comment only. Also why can't I react after someone reacts to a comment. Only one reaction is allowed.
Also I'm an Android…

Adding hyperlinks
Need to add hyperlink for web links (i.e. tracking numbers). Currently, you have to copy the "text" that you select from the corresponding conversation/message rather than being able to simply press on the section within the text message of which opens up to the site you are looking to view (tracking number, URL, etc...).

archive messages
it'd be nice to be able to move messages into an archive folder and that stay there even if a new message pops up.
there are people that I would love to not show up in my list of people that I'm stuck communicating with. keep them out of mind unless I go and intentionally look.

Turn open source ?
I wish textra go open source, since it a really good application and for some reasons :
- we cannot check the security of this application
- we can't trust your entreprise to not spy on us
- your entreprise can have some difficulties and blackout this app
- we can't extend this app4 votes -
how contacts are listed
We should be be able to have the contact manner in which they listed customizable.
Example being I want my contacts within Textra listed alphabetically, last name first just like they are listed in my Galaxy S7 phone's contact list. "Messages" which is the default texting program (I have it disabled since using Textra) on this phone uses the phone's contact list so they are listed the way you want. As if this version Textra still only lets you list the contacts First name first so my family for instance is listed all over the place not grouped together.9 votes
