Improve URL recognition.
The current implementation of URL recognition could be improved.
First, a lot of times textra cannot correctly identify when the URL actually ends. It often includes the comma or period in the end of URL, and in Chinese, there is no space in between sentences, because period in Chinese are twice the size, so you would not need an extra space to separate sentences, that is a problem since textra would not figure out when URL actually ends because there is not space.

This is a must-have feedback option for being able to triage responding to incoming notifications. What was the rationale for removing this feature? The deep customization support is the key reason Textra is one of the few apps I've ever paid to support!

block emails
just make it so only texts from actual phone numbers come through. can make it an option to turn on and off. basically a filter.

Android wear os support.
we need support so texts can be accessed on my watch, to watch pro, Android wear os.

Backup/move text threads to SD card
Ideally, it'd be nice to be able to move all of textra to the SD card, but a simpler approach may be to allow backup to (with option to delete from phone storage) and restore from the SD card for either all texts or user selected text threads.
Mainly looking for some relief from the massive storage consumption that textra is currently hitting my phone with.

allow option to separate messages from contacts and new numbers
This could act sort of as a spam filter for all the spam messages I've been getting. disabled by default this would disable sound notification for unknown numbers and put them in a separate folder or tab. that way if I'm expecting a message I know I can check there otherwise I can just ignore it

Show contact name in text
Hi, thanks for your good app. It would be great if the user could display the numbers of the phones he sends or receives in text messages instead of the number. This feature will be a great help when the operator sends me the lost contact numbers and I only see the mobile number and I have to search for the contact's name in the contacts field. Thankful

where did vibration patterns go?
I used the customized vibration patterns on my old phone with Android 9, but now in Android 11 there is no option... why?? I loved that option, especially because my watch vibrated with the same pattern and I always knew who was texting me without having to look

put a 2FA code in test notification
I'm trying to figure out why the "copy code" is gone from my notifications, but the test notification doesn't have a code. so, I need to log in somewhere that requires 2FA to test that. (I still haven't figured out why it's not working.)

Date format
Could you please add an option to switch between date formats? Currently there is only MM/DD/YYYY available. It would be nice to have DD/MM/YYYY (or DD.MM.YYYY) for European users.

click report spam / scam
In the UK you can report a spam or a scam text to do so forward the text to 7726.
An easy way to remember '7726' is that they are the numbers on your telephone keypad that spell out the word 'SPAM'.Most countries have an option to report the spam text to your network operator.
My idea is to define / set this report number in Textra settings once set, click the 3 dots menu & click report spam / scam which will inform your network provider In your country
