  2. Chat bubble padding and icon option

    Hello, I have been using this app for years and it is the best 3rd party SMS option around IMO. However, there are two options that would greatly improve the only two flaws of the app:

    1. Adding a “chat bubble padding” option? Compared to other messengers, the text in the chat bubbles are way too tight. Depending on the message, the text almost touches the edge of the bubble. A solution would be too add multiple options for padding (Default plus a sliding scale of 1-5, similar to how you can slide your text size %).

  3. automatic message to reject incoming call

    automatic message does not work when I choose textra to be default messaging app on Xiaomi Redmi 8. standard app does work ok.

  4. Choosing sent sound

    it would be nice to select the sent sound and even getting to select an incoming sound, so you know you got a new message when that specific chat thread is open.

    Yes past couple of days real issues. Tmobile seems to have solved as mms is now working again after being down three days.

  7. Disable slide to call/slide to delete message thread

    Have a toggle option for enable/disable the feature where you slide someone's name to call or delete.

    my phone remains unlocked in pocket sometimes and has deleted threads and posts kept dialed.

    furthermore, the feature is simply annoying as requires more precision when sliding to prevent unintended effects.

    this is literally the one feature that has kept me from buying pro

  8. Backgrounds for chats and inbox

    I think it'd be super cool if you could add pictures to individual chats and to the main inbox, along with being able to change opacity. I really like changing my stuff for the holidays, and right now my theme is red and green. It would be cool if I could add a faint picture (maybe 50% opacity) in the background of a Christmas tree or something.

    I think it would be very helpful to be able to search through text messages with filters like by contacts and/or by date (maybe specifically by day, month, or year).

  14. Delay Sending Message

    I have never understood what two seconds or 9 seconds matters for a delay in sending a message or a text. But it must apply to something that I don't have.

    I would prefer to be able to choose a future date and time to have a delay to set for sending.

    Ever since the update yesterday it doesn't work. I finally got it to send and receive texts by enabling Messages again. But now it isn't sending mms . How do I put it back to when it worked?

  17. turn off group messages completely

    I never send them, they've only bitten me on the a** when I've replied to them, I'd rather miss a message than receive a group text. minimum, some way to identify them when you receive one.

    title says it. when a feature or setting is turned on, the switch should illuminate a different color to indicate (whatever it is) is enabled.
