Display Names?
We can hide the contact an messages on the notification bar. What about the contact names in the chats list? I personally like having the full names of my friends and family.. I'd rather not show them off to anyone reading over my shoulder I mean, at least make a few more steps to get them? I guess a custom field will work for now...

Make small reaction tray customizable instead
Please consider making going back to the small emoji reaction tray a customizable option. If it is already I cannot find the setting, and having the whole menu pull up to react is very unnecessary

Add "MESSAGES" header to lower where text messages start
The native Samsung Android messaging app opens up with a larger GUI piece that simply says "MESSAGES" and in turn, puts the text messages lower on the screen which is so much easier for the thumb to reach. Currently, when I open up the Textra app, my most recent text at the top is quite a stretch for me to reach. The native Android messaging app has it so it's mid-level with the hands and thumb, making it much easier for opening newest message.

"vacation/custom" mode for individual contacts
it'd be nice if there was like a date start and date and for someone's vacation. and it would be a Notifier somehow on their name when you select them or see them on the list that explains that they are on vacation or maybe not even vacation even just a custom thing for that duration of time. what made me come up with this is that my boss is going to be on vacation for the rest of the week and I wanted to have a Notifier to remind me not to message him during this duration. I wish…
