  2. Option to add Signature Timestamp Date/Time to MMS messages or SMS Messages

    During this COVID-19 crisis, I have noticed that some group chat (MMS) messages are delivered after significant delay. I suspect it is due to high network congestion.

    It would be helpful if we could set up Textra so that we could turn on signatures for MMS (or SMS) individually and then use some type of "block code" to insert the local day/time into the bottom of the message.

    For example, I could configure my MMS signature as:

    Sent on: [dayOfWeek] [hh:mm tt]

  3. Notification Icon

    How about put colours of all the notification icon. If you can change themes and all I believe you guys can create how to make the notification icon with different colours. That would be awesome! 🥰

  5. Convert Apple Maps address/link to Google Maps

    When someone using Apple Maps sends their location via text, it sends a contact.vcf I think. It would be great if it could read the maps.apple.com link within the contact and make a clickable Google Maps link.

    Right now, I have to import it as a contact, go to the contact, copy the link, paste it into Google Maps, then remove everything before the longitude and latitude.

  7. Write/edit photo from Textra

    When you take a picture from within the Textra app, you should be able to edit directly from there instead of having to leave Textra and edit from your photo app. It would be so much easier to snap a picture, throw a sticker or draw on it and hit send!

    Make sharing via textra show only certain peopleconversation you marked for sharing.

    currently, the sharing will pick the 3 most recent conversations you received text from. i want to pick 3 conversations i use the most available in the android share menu.

  15. Bookmark and reminder

    Allow ability to bookmark messages and also to setup a follow-up reminder on certain messages. For example if you make a bet on the outcome of a weeks 2 weeks in the past you can set the message to send notification when custom time (2 weeks in this case) has expired.

  16. Allow group text title to show only first name

    Allow an option to shorten the titles of group texts to only first names. Sometimes I get confused which members are in a group text when just looking at the titles because it gets cut off after 1 or 2 full names.

    "Paul, John, George, and Ringo"
    instead of
    "Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr"

  20. Custom Vibrate

    Textra currently has the ability to use custom vibration patterns but the way we set them is by tapping and holding on the screen and releasing over and over. It's incredibly hard to fine tune a pattern to match up with a notification sound this way. Chomp SMS on the other hand has the ability to set the vibrate interval and non-vibrate interval just by inputting the seconds. Textra should add something similar as well.
