    can you add more colors to the notification lights or and a different blink pattern also can you add a feature where u can leave a group text

    It'd be really awesome if we could use pictures as chat backgrounds and just have more personalization or even just more themes.

  5. Reply message

    Thank you for a great product.

    Can you add a reply feature, similar to whatsapp? When you long press on a message it copies the message into a reply message.

  6. back up to SD Card

    auto backup all sms & mms to a file on sd card. not to be xferred to new device. just a file on ad card so not to waste internal storage. its to easy to accidently delete a contacts msgs when they really need to be saved.

  7. Message Sorting

    In general it would be very nice to have "groups" for your messages. I'm not sure if this would display as tabs or what, but it would be nice to have a tab for like "family", one for "friends", and one for "automated messages". that way you don't accidentally send grandma a text at 2am when trying to text your friends. Obviously this would be an optional setting.

    If this is unable to be implemented, then another use along the same case would be somehow sorting out non-friends-and-family texts (ex: "Your prescription is ready!", "New hot Deal 20% off!", and…

  8. Mute options

    I love that I can mute notifications from specific people or groups, thank you! It would be even better if I could choose to mute only audio but see the new message in the notification area. Or mute both (like right now).

  9. We need a Textra Windows/Mac App

    I've seen it posted, but I'll post it again. A desktop app would be next level awesome. Especially with the speed, fluid animations, and customization options Textra is known for.

  10. Being able to send GIFS from the gallery

    I have realized that I can't send the GIFS I have in my gallery. After I send them they are received as a photo and that's so lame. We definitely need this feature I have so many GIFS to send.

  13. Light and Black...?

    Please add option to use the pure "Black" theme for nighttime when using the scheduled Light / Dark modes based on sunrise/sunset. It looks way better on my phone and it's already an option, so why not make it an option for the scheduled themes?

  14. ringtone options

    Does Textra do the following? Can I set up text notification like this: 6am to 7pm. normal notification, 7pm to 10pm vibrate only, 10pm to 1am only screen wake, 1am to 6am silent. so this is mock schedule of how I may set my text notices with the option of changing schedule when needed - so now that schedule is set I won't need to go into menu and manually do it. does this feature exist? If no can it happen? was just wondering. Thanks

  17. Alert sms

    When government send alert sms and then touch the notication bar to read alert sms, textra can't read the alert message. and then system ask me if I need to change basic sms app from textra to original message app. I f I choose 'no', alert message will be shown on the original message app.
    After this action, if I launch textra, there are alert messages then I can read the alert messages using textra

  18. Group Texts - bulk vs. chat

    It would be great to be able to change the "bulk or chat" setting for each group text in addition to having the default setting.

    I currently keep the setting on "bulk" for default, but have to remember to change it every time i want to send a "chat" style msg to a certain group.

    when I reply to a message and hit send it closes automatically. this is annoying since I may need to send a follow up. please fix
