Bookmark and reminder
Allow ability to bookmark messages and also to setup a follow-up reminder on certain messages. For example if you make a bet on the outcome of a weeks 2 weeks in the past you can set the message to send notification when custom time (2 weeks in this case) has expired.

Allow group text title to show only first name
Allow an option to shorten the titles of group texts to only first names. Sometimes I get confused which members are in a group text when just looking at the titles because it gets cut off after 1 or 2 full names.
"Paul, John, George, and Ringo"
instead of
"Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr"Thanks!!

Custom Vibrate
Textra currently has the ability to use custom vibration patterns but the way we set them is by tapping and holding on the screen and releasing over and over. It's incredibly hard to fine tune a pattern to match up with a notification sound this way. Chomp SMS on the other hand has the ability to set the vibrate interval and non-vibrate interval just by inputting the seconds. Textra should add something similar as well.

Group text: bulk vs chat toggle
I know I can change between bulk and chat in the settings, but it would be WAY more convenient if there was a toggle in the group window. That way I could chat with a friend group and bulk text work contacts without having to back out, go into settings, change it, then go back to the other group, rinse and repeat every time

It would be nice to have the ability to like /laugh at text messages. I know iphone has this feature on their texting app.

More font colors!
Currently on Dark Mode, there are only four color options for font color:
White, Grey, Light Grey, and Whiter white.The problem is obvious... We basically can only make our fonts white, which is impossible to read if your bubble color is even slightly light, which they most likely are if you're using dark mode.
It makes no sense to match the font color to the bubble color, match it to the background atleast... I can't believe there are only white and grey as options....

notification setting
Hi, Since I first installed textra, several years ago, there has been one glaring issue. One that has been complained about hundreds of times by hundreds of users.
The only delay between notifications of new email is two minutes. From a user interface standpoint, this is idiotic. From the standpoint of other textng apps, this is unprecedented.
How is it possible that the developers would ignore all of these requests for so long? How is it possible that this oversight wasn't repaired as soon as it was brought to their attention?
I cannot fathom how such an obvious mistake has…

I asked about this a while ago and now the default msgr has it. u can set up category tabs. please follow that lead!

theme fix
fix the "head bar" color make it like the theme color if white head bar will be white , dark head bar will be dark and so on , or make the head bar "blur" like the ios text app , and yes remove the history that drop from the head bar it's usefull but it's very ugly , and make the back of chat and "babules shape" more cleaning , plz think about my feedback , keep working .

Option to change interface color depending on selected SIM card
It's too easy to select the wrong sim without realizing it, and confuse your recipient. It would be helpful to have the option to color code the interface so you can tell you're using one or the other very quickly.
