  1. revert back to my list of messages.

    after sending, reading, or deleting a message I would like to revert back to the list of conversation messages. Currently it takes me out of the app and I have to open it back up to get back to my list of conversations

  2. revert back to my list of messages.

  3. Samsung QHD adaptor

    on 4k devices, or at least the Galaxy s10, when you switch to 4k screen, the display for texts becomes very small. please make the display independent of the resolution settings.

  4. Allowing to make phone calls

    Displaying the phone number of the person you are texting along with a phone button next to it to allow you to call the person from inside the text window would be GREAT! Someone txts something that requires an immediate voice conversation rather than another txt... Or if your response was going to be more than you wanted to type... several reasons make this a good addition to the app.

  5. see number of message recipients in summary

    it would be great to be able to see the number of recipients in the summary without clicking into a text. other messengers achieve this by listing the first couple of recipients followed by a + and the number of recipients. this makes it easier to find my larger group text threads without clicking into a bunch of threads.

  7. Tone customization from music files

    Add extra features for adding notification tones from music files, so we can customize tones from songs, downloaded tones etc

  8. My idea is incorporate AI into it.

    Have an AI similar to google assistant and/or Mei that could learn even simple tasks or your characteristics or routines and you would blow every other messaging service/app away

  9. Forced Display?

    When I run Textra my phone's touch menu does not minimize like it would in games, where I have to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to pull the menu up. If Textra could force this menu closed when the keyboard is up, it would save SO much frustration when typing. As it stands when trying to use the space bar, the phones menu closes everything out because that function is directly below the space bar and I have huge thumbs. Otherwise, I love Textra!

    We definitely need a confirm that we want to delete all messages.
    It is way to easy to delete all the messages. I have accidentally deleted all my messages twice now. 😡

  15. Minor glitch with notifications for specific peoole

    I can set notification sounds for specific people and those settings are saved if I delete the conversation. However, it goes back to the default settings for whether or not the messages appear on the lock screen or if you want their content hidden. It is obviously keeping the sound preference for that person regardless of whether or not you keep the conversation. It would be great if it kept all the changes.

  16. Why do pics send differently

    When I send my husband pic from textra, he cannot save it (He uses stock app on Google pixel 2). If I send it via my stock app, he can save it. What is different?

  17. Stop iMessage Liked/Loved/Disliked/etc. texts

    Please create some kind of filter or something that gets rid of this super annoying feature from iPhone iMessage users. I'm tired of getting a text and notification with the entire message again every time someone hits like. In group texts it's particularly awful.

    Ok this is pretty simple. Like IOS has 3 little dots to show when a person is typing, you should have that as well !
