  3. Blacklist

    How is it even possible that Textra doesn't offer the ability to manually enter numbers a person wants blacklisted? That is a CRITICAL failure. There is indeed a blacklist option, but only from numbers that have sent text messages. This has got to be fixed!!!

  4. Favorite Contacts

    When you currently favorite a contact, you can see all the numbers that are associated (mobile, home, work). we should be able to choose a specific number to appear so it's less cluttered!

    I'd love to be able to mute a thread between 11 and 7 at night. I have a friend group with an early riser who likes to text before I wake up.

    please add the ability to like, laugh, etc. to texts -- as well as the ability to see that when others do it instead of "laughed at blah blah blah" I love this SMS app - that's the only thing I wish was different

    It would be great to be able to turn off automatic changelog conversation creation after a Textra update, as they're kinda frequent.

  10. Predictive answers/responses

    I absolutely love the predictive answers or responses that Android messaging does. They come up quick and make messaging a lot easier and faster. I sometimes now have to use both Textra and Android messaging because I like features of both but would rather see only on Textra :-). C'mon make it happen :)

  15. quick response - message not being sent after rejecting a call

    while on the 'incoming call' screen, there are 3 options: 'pick up', 'reject' and 'reject with a message'.
    the last one used to work flawlessly, but it somehow stopped a couple of months ago. I swipe up on the 'reject with message' button, select the message to be sent, the call gets rejected and...no message goes out. it works perfectly fine on the stock app, but it should go without saying that I prefer Textra.

  17. Restore SMS Notification Alert That Android Pie Took Away

    With Android Pie, and probably upcoming Q, if your headphones or earbuds are plugged in to your phone, the incoming SMS or MMS alert does not play over the phone speaker, it only plays over the headset. If you don't have your headphones on your ears, you miss the alert. Could you add the option to always play alert over the speaker if audio is on? This would be a very useful feature to override this new and crazy annoying Pie behavior. Thanks

  19. PLEASE !! Picture Messages

    please separate the picture from the text when sending pictures via messages similar to how WhatsApp, iMessage handle it even the Samsung messaging application as well as Google Messages.. all of them do this. when you send a message the picture is above with a small line underneath is the text where you write. on yours it's all group together it sends separately and works beautifully however it's just not clean looking...   20. Security Must Have

    A great feature my phone app has that would a very important feature to add to this great app! That feature is a way to block unwanted text messages and /or block a specific number/contact! Currently a few associates & myself have been receiving random texts from advertisers or scammers. This would be a great feature I would upgrade to pro version for!
