  1. LED on notifications

    Can we get it to default to no LED notification but conversations where we have set the LED color to work? Now you have to turn it on to see any LED color and you have to set each conversation to have no LED but that doesn't stop a new conversation from having a LED color.

  2. more options for people who used LED and now it is gone

    I've noticed a lot of apps that are trying to add features to counteract lack of being able to change LED colour for alerts and phones getting rid of LED notification light entirely. there is an app called noled that has a tiny icon that floats on your lockscreen and links to the app. it only goes to app not contact so you could one up that and have the icon that was chosen for a contact be what appears. so if you have messages from multiple contacts you'd have multiple icons appear but on the screen area where there…

  6. Option to remove swiping to exit a chat

    idk how many people I'd have to be simultaneously texting for this feature to come in handy, suffice it to say I do not have that many people. Selecting text is a chore in this app cuz if I hold it down left to right then it exits and I have to do it again, right to left. Idk why this exists at all tbh but at least let me disable it.

  7. how about not crashing

    not have app crash n force a reboot of phone trying to send pictures or video. also pictures are not attached, just a blank box. been this way for months. very annoying.

  8. If I am a "Pro" user, I should be able to disable the Textra "bot" from ever soliciting me to leave a review.

    Especially if I have already left one. It actually makes me think to update my review to reflect this.

  9. Block All Messages From Anyone Not In My Contact List

    To prevent unwanted texts. No more Spam. No more wrong numbers. With spam on the increase and the bad for your phone things that can come in a text this would prevent issues.

  12. ANONYMOUS TEXTING

    It would be awesome to have the option to make your messages show up private(unknownmessenger) just as you can do with your phone number when making calls bcuz I like to be able to keep my number private and don't have that option with this messaging app...other than that I luv texts and have bn using it for a while:)!! Ty ...plz consider this option:)!! It would put this app on a whole new level !!

    Users have the option to search the help section according to topic. For example, I need to format my date on SMS/MMS to display: day date sim#

    Read messages out loud when connected to Bluetooth. Example, will read ur messages out loud while in the car through the speakers. YAATA has this feature which is very nice.

  18. "ok Google" read me my new Textra messages

    any chance of getting this? Textra is integrated great with using Google to type texts while driving but what about reading them?

  20. Bug

    if i send 5 digits in an sms , they are not received by the other person. For example, 12345 is not received, 012345 is received. All five digit combinations fail, other combinations are fine
