Deleting texts
I am useless at remembering to clear-out old, unimportant texts and often have hundreds to delete in a single session. I would find it very useful if it were possible to delete all texts from/to a person generated before a specified date. Would save having to select messages individually.

Complete app face-lift.
My idea is basically giving the app a good face-lift much like Google has done to its Play Store recently. It kinda looks Textra's anesthetics are aging. But keep the colors customizable.

Highlight Emoji words
when you type lol or house or poop or airplane, the word is highlighted and if you press on the highlighted word it will insert the emoji or allow you a choice of emojis to insert.

It would be nice if the app would count and display the number of characters in the text.

Word filtering & Message Details
you should have the ability in settings to turn off filtering for curse words. Also there's no Info like time sent, date etc available when you press on a message.

Set up inbox for strangers
Add ability to automatically put sms from a strange person to stranger box. Stranger is a person who is not from our contact list, in this way Textra will look more clean and easy to use.

When choosing to forward a message, automatically insert FW: prior to the copied text. Make a toggle to enable/disable.

Add Unread option to search scope
please add "unread" option to the search scope (it currently only has locked and scheduled) so it would be easier to check unread messages.

Bubble Type
I use Bitmoji a lot and the conversation bubbles available cut off the picture in the conversation. If there can be a rectangle version that will show the whole Bitmoji, that would be great or have pictures go out outside the bubbles. Also, pictures should be allowed to be bigger on the screen without clicking it.

when I click on the media folder it now opens Google drive instead of my gallery.

Provide ability to block non-numeric numbers
I receive messages from an alpha ID which varies each time I receive one. I would like to be able to block all non-numeric numbers.
