  1. Profile photo in conversation

    Why is there still no option to have contact photo next to individual messages? This is the one and only feature at this point that I think this sms app is missing for visual customization. Great app though and definitely my default sms app on any Android phone

    Textra used to work with Fossil smartwatch. after the recent update, it is unable to notify the watch of incoming texts as before.

  6. Two color outlined text is difficult to read

    Two color text: one color outlining letters, another color within the outlines, such as used for the date & time stamp of the message, is very difficult to read compared with standard text on the display

    It would be best if the user could change this text to a single color vs. the contrasting background.

  9. Sharing to contacts already being messaged in Textra

    Please make the default behavior while sharing pictures, links, etc., list the contacts that are already being messaged in Textra, not the 'favorites' list from the dialer. It just makes more sense that way. Thank you.

    make a call application to complete this one. An application that works with or without Textra. An application that we can modified like this one and that when a contact is calling me, I want his picture profile in full screen like Apple! PLEASE

    I don't wanna have to hit the message box for the pop up window to show id like ate pop up window to just be there automatically when I get a message so I can quickly respond.

  13. text counter amd individual wallpapers

    text counter and individual wallpapers per contacts conversation. the amount of text back and forth between two people jus like to see it and not have to pull back on the contact to see that ive text someone 20000 times id like it it next to there names incase I have to screen shot how many text we've had since we started

  14. colors for SIM

    On phones with 2 SIM, you have to choice which SIM for a call or for SMS.
    May you param a color choice for sim1 and an other for sim2, near phone number definition in param ?

  16. Option to be able to reply with more than more one message in the quickly reply.

    It would be nice to be able to send more than one message in the quick reply. For example, sending an emoji first then sending some texts. Cause after sending one message, the quickly reply goes away then I have to open the full app to send the rest of my messages and then go to Recent Apps to go back to what I was doing, which is a bit of an inconvenience. It would be excellent if we get the option where once I initiate quick reply, I can send as many messages as I want to, and then…

  17. Allow auto trimming (or at least a warning and manual trim) of videos too large to send like Verizon Message+ does

    I've been struggling for days to send videos to my girlfriend. once I turned off Textra and went to the default Verizon app (Messages+) it warned me that the video was simply too large to send, and would let me manually crop to sendable sizes so I could cut into segments to send.

    it would be AMAZING to:
    1. have a warning that the video it too large to send rather than just getting an undeliverable message 5 min later
    2. allow auto-trimming of videos too large to send
    3. if that's not feasible, allow manual trimming to sendable sizes.

  20. Split screen view

    When in landscape mode split screen so one panel shows lost of messages and the other panel shows message text of message selected from other panel. - what the stock samsung messaging app does.
