3. "Change Conversation Name" for non-group chats

   My work forces me to message a lot of different clients and it's quite annoying to have to save all these people as contacts on my phone, taking space and a lot of time it's clients I won't talk to more than once a year. It would be incredible to have the option to customize the name for conversations with only one person. This way I won't have their number just sitting there and be forced to either save them as a contact or have to read the whole chat in order to figure out who I may be speaking with. Just an option to give unknown numbers a nickname.

4. Bold Font Option

   I love the Textra and recently added Gilroy fonts, but they're way too thin, I can barely read them so I'm stuck using System font. Would love to have the option to customize the apps font by making it bold.

5. When I try to reply to an MMS with an image file it will not complete, I only get a blank box

   I have many group texts where we share pics and gif's. As of a couple weeks ago-ish, when I select one from my gallery it only loads a blank box in the message field. to get around this I have to go and force stop the app and reopen it, but that does not always work.

   I have a Galaxy s9 SM-G960U, Android version 8.0.0, Textra version 3.49

7. more per contact customization

   I absolutely love the customization by contact, it's one of my favorite things about this app. But it would be great if you could customize font color and emoji style by contact as well. Font color for contacts with harder to read colors and emoji style for iPhone contacts.

11. please block iOS liking a txt

    no idea how you can possibly do this, but iOS users liking a txt, annoyingly repeats the whole txt back and serves no useful purpose. ok, that may be 60% rant, but still, you deserve an award if you can figure a way to stop this before it really gets out of hand. thank you.

12. Mute messages from non-contacts

    it would be helpful if there was an easy way to mute all messages from numbers that are not in my Contacts. for instance unsolicited political messages are not against the law so muting numbers I don't know would grant me some sanity from them.

16. lock or prevent deletion of message

    sometimes I have accidentally when my screen is unlocked deleted a whole conversation from a contact. I think it would be beneficial if you had some sort of confirm before deleting or the ability to lock messages from being deleted.

18. Remove iOS reaction messages (liked an image, loved "..."

    I have a family text thread that is comprised of 8 iOS users and 2 Android users. I hate getting reaction type message responses that send to everyone but on Android phones there is no concept of likes or reactions to a message so it comes through like the examples below. I would love to be able to have those messages immediately removed from sight with no indication of a message received. Probably the best way to do it is to classify them as they come in and maybe store them with an isReaction attribute with a value of 1 for reactions, 0 for normal sms content. Then you could just create a couple defaults that will show/hide reactions and notify/silent reaction arrivals.

    Pseudo code

    arrReactionPatterns = ['Liked an image.' , 'Liked "', 'Laughed at "', etc...]

    if (sms.startsWith(arrReactionPatterns)) {
    sms.setAttribute("isReaction", "1")

    You get the idea. All I want is for apples hackish use of sms to be like social media to be banished. As a perk, I would love to see a power user feature that allows you to establish custom patterns to automatically hide
