A sans serif font option?
We know these are the easiest on the eyes to read. Thanks for this new "Gilroy" but couldn't we please have a sans serif option instead?

oneplus 5t attachment issue.
I go to attach wonting on the plus some lunch symbol it turns into a X but no icons come up for any attachments the keyboard remains.

Hide private contacts
It would be nice to hide choosen contacts and protect it - for example with using finger print or special code.

Option for ping on receiving texts while text screen is open.
I have several times put my phone down after sending a text or reply to someone, and they text me back before the screen times out, and I don't realize they sent a reply, because there wasnt a notification sound.

Can you put a lock on the textra application?
Put a security lock specific to the textra application so the application can be secured without just using the security lock on the phone.

Shape the Textra Icon to match the Android Oreo Icon Look
Like most other apps, is there a way to change the shape of the actual icon to mimic the Android Oreo Icon look? It will help to add cohesion to the look of all the icons on the home screen. LOVE THE APP, BY THE WAY! Thanks for your work!

placeholder for ads
I love Textra and the ads don't bother me at all. But, one slightly annoying thing is that when first loading Textra, just before I'm about to click on one of the conversations (just before the ad has shown), the entire list shifts down, causing me to either select the ad, or the wrong conversation. Why not put a placeholder in the spot where the ad is going to be loaded into so that there is no shifting up or down?

Separate Pictures from Text!!! PLEASE
this app is next to perfect but you send a picture with text its jumbled up and gets mixed in together, there needs to be a divider line like in iMessage, WhatsApp the Google messaging Samsung messaging all of them have it, if you had that feature it'll clean it up and make it more sophisticated and this would be the best texting app because of the speed and functionality.im telling you guys people would appreciate it!!! please

Night mode (hour of activation)

Remove recipient from group text
I have been a Pro user for a number of years. I was wondering if it is possible to add a feature that would remove a person or persons from a group text? Other messaging apps have this feature as some people do request to be removed from group texting. The ability to add someone would also be a big plus. Thanks!

Group messages from unknown contacts
I always have a lot of unique messages when I sell something or when I do carpooling. I used to have an application that made a group with all messages from numbers that are not saved in my contacts. Improves readability in conversations list

Move chat to conversation even if delayed
Currently, i set my texts to have 2 seconds delay. Many times I am sending consecutive texts, and each time, I still have to wait for that precious 2 seconds before I could type again in the text field. In other words, that delay thing is covering up the text field. I want to keep typing while the delayed message is processing. Probably just copy what yaata currently has: when you press send, that message is already listed in the conversation list but with the 'X' timer. Try to check it out. Obviously I want this over yaata. Thank you.

better recognizing of 2 or more people
you need to consider implementing colour separation to easily identify whether you are replying to a single text message or a text message that has 2 or more people in it.
That way you can send a message to 1 person instead of accidentally send to a previous conversation that has 2 or more people......2 votes -
Group text message received as individual text by recipient
I used to see in BB10 the ability to select multiple contacts for a text message, but before pressing send, having the opportunity to check a box allowing the sender to have the recipients receive the message as single text, rather than group. It was a great way for the sender to send the same message to various people as individuals with one send.
