  1. Send Pictures in Sequence

    Send multiple pictures in a sequential order instead of them being sent in a non-ordered fashion. Pictures would be numbered from 1 to the number of pictures being sent, numbered in the order you selected them.

    Add an option to disable this feature, or at least not make it the default page when trying to select an emoji.

  3. Return to message thread when re-open app

    Currently, if in a chat and back out of the app, when you go back to the app, you're kicked back to the list of conversations. would be nice to go back to where you left off

    often times we are busy, and we get a message that we don't want to sit down and read. having the option to click that message and have the phone read it out loud would be super awesome

  5. Emergency Services

    Hi there,

    I use the app as a means accessing of my HM Coastguard paging. We are paged by text and respond with appropriate numbers.

    My idea is for the notification noises.

    Is it possible to get the phone to play a ringtone when on silent/vibrate? This would be great as I will always hear my pager tone but rarely feel the vibrations. I usually feel the vibration but having a repeat option every 20 seconds or so would be very useful as the custom ones are rather short.

    My last bit is a general, the messages on the app…

  6. Mute Specific Threads

    It would be nice to mute a thread if you don't want notifications from a specific person or group.

    I'm coming from Windows 10 Mobile and that was a basic and highly praised feature.

  7. Highlight important SMS/MMS messages

    There should be a feature where you can swipe an SMS/MMS message to the right and be able to hit a star icon to highlight that message. An example of this is when you get a text message from your boss asking you if you're available for a certain date for work. This makes it easier than having to hunt down the exact message.

  10. quick send of Emergency pre-written messages.

    similar to quick notes such as "busy in a meeting" reaponses to a decluned phone call but a feature built into TEXTRA that can send an emergency text to 1 or multiple contacts. can be a im lost -location text. (program already built into Android but most importantly MEDICAL texts similar to the "busy in a meeting" messages.     In notification replies are broken and odd after the new android 9 Pie update on my Pixel 2 XL. it's not a bug, or crash, it's just obviously not coded to work on the new update and needs fixed

  13. Quick copy verification codes

    A feature that is very handy in Android Messages is the way it asks if you would like to copy 123456 right on the quick reply screen when you receive a verification code from an app or website. You guys should do that.

  18. alert to picture message in quick reply

    when you swipe down and quick reply, an alert that you're replying to a picture message (and there's an image you haven't seen) would be helpful. maybe instead of the "reply" text, it could say "media in original message" or something like that.
