  2. pop up ads

    I swear if I have one more pop up ad open when I go to select the top message in this app and I click on it I'm going to scream! Seriously, just display it in the top slot 100% of the time, or let it scroll a few down and reset to the top before it leaves the screen. It's extremely infuriating to get conned into clicking on those things. I've already uninstalled in the past for this, and you changed it so I came back. I'm about a 16th of an inch from doing it again and never…

    Automatic night mode should respond to whether or not Night Light is enabled. A light theme when Night Light is disabled and a dark theme when it is enabled.

  6. Text bubbles and shades of black

    The text message bubbles should synchronize when multiple texts are sent at the same time. For example: if three texts are sent at the same time, only one of those texts should have the tail and the others should just mesh with it like it does on What's App, IOS, and other text message apps. Love the app. I really like all the customizations, maybe another shade of black between pitch black and dark gray would be nice.

  7. bug in menu bar on android 8

    when first launching Textra the menu bar blinks dark and then goes white. this does not happen when switching back to the app once launched. also should go dark to match dark themes. samsung galaxy s9.

  11. Ability to select all messages inside a conversation thread, or auto-delete messages older than a certain time.

    It would be nice to be able to select all messages inside a conversation instead of one by one like it is right now, so that I can then de-select the few messages i want to keep.
    It would be even nicer to add the function to auto-delete messages older than a certain time period (older than a month for example) so that the inbox is auto-maintained and we just lock messages we want to keep.

  13. Multiple Messages combiner

    So it drives me crazy how some people will send you 3 texts in a row. Sometimes more, usually brief. we need a way to have multiple messages sent from the same person within a brief time come through as one message. please!
    👎example:

    •Hey!(5mins ago)
    •Whats up!?(5mins ago)
    •You working today?(3mins ago)
    •Did you see that YouTube video yet?(1min ago)

    👍App would merge messages to:
    •Hey
    What's up!?
    You Working today?
    Did you see that YouTube video yet?(5min ago)

    less notifications to drive people crazy from annoying and impatient people. This could easily be applied in a similar way…

    I have the current version of Textra Pro, and It's suddenly producing gibberish texts. for example, it sent this message to a friend.

  17. Samsung Navigation Bar - Please match!

    I really would like the Samsung Galaxy navigation bar to match Textra! I use the dark theme a lot at night and I don't like the light navigation bar I have to use.

    I have modified it before but I want to stay with the stock navigation for now.

    Can you make it where it turns the color of the app?

    RedditIsFun app has a similar feature!

  18. SendLeap.com to use Textra on Android, but syncs with Web + PC app!

    I tried SO many ways to text over my PC via web\app that synced with Textra but nothing that I liked.

    I tried Android Messages for Web, it was ok, but I hated using the app instead of Textra. Switching back and forth sucked too.

    There was an app I found - TextTo.io, and they just renamed to SendLeap.com -- it works GREAT.

    I think it was too expensive but I hope the guys keep it around. It was my favorite.

  19. Driving Mode Auto Response

    Create a manual one-step-quick-to-access setting that will switch the app over to 'Driving Mode'.
    When set to Driving Mode all incoming messages will receive a one time automatic response '[Auto Reply] I'm driving now. I will get back to you shortly' until it is switched off.
