  3. indicator for when the other person is typing

    on other messaging apps, the other person's bubble will display a "dot dot dot" animation for when they are replying to your text. it shows they are active so you know they are about to respond. this would be super helpful

  4. Support geo: location URI scheme.

    Please, turn geo: URIs into clickable links, just like http: & https: so people don't have to depend on a specific navigation app (Google Maps), like so:

    geo:59.3842676,16.4325433

    instead of:

  5. option to turn off calendar suggestions

    it drives me absolutely bonkers to have my text underlined and linked to a calendar app I don't even use whenever I mention any sort of Time, including things like "next week" or even "now". please let me turn this off. I've taken to censoring my own texts just to avoid this.

I would love to go back through my deleted conversations just in case I realize stupidly that I've forgotten something in a conversation that I should've saved. I'd greatly appreciate it!

    the current option of 150% is not all that large and would like to see it expanded. other text programs allow for really large font size that would alow me and many others not to have to use glasses when reading or sending a text.

    I was previously a Verizon Messages + user. So far Textra does what I need, but I 'do' miss the auto reply mode when driving, and the custom reply (could set it up when in a meeting, or riding my motorcycle).

    Textra developers - please consider adding an in app option for auto sms reply messages

  15. Quick Voice Notes Tap to Record, Not Hold to Record

    When making a voice memo, can we have the option to tap the microphone symbol to start recording, and then tap to stop recording?

    Reasoning: Often when I'm making a Quick Voice Memo it is because I cannot text or manipulate the keyboard constantly. Having to hold the microphone symbol to record negates a lot of the usefulness of a quick voice memo. With a "Tap to record, tap to stop recording" option my hands and attention are a little more free.

    either gradients of the same color to help distinguish contacts primarily in group chats or alternatively different colors entirely.

    Decouple different contact color from the header theme.

    increase the range of color options overall. It would be nicer to have options of colors that are less saturated and easier on the eyes.

  19. Seamless Communication with Apple

    Recently joined a beta, won't disclose the company for whom the beta was for, but the product was a chat app with the feature to be able to associate your Apple account. Doing so allows android users to communicate with iOS users via iMessage. verified that the end user(apple user) receives the message via associated Apple ID.

    Been using Textra for several years and paid for the app to support. I'd much rather use that feature on here and the more Textra users find out about said application I am referring to they will probably feel the same.

    I sent the wrong text to the wrong person. they are now convinced that I sent it to them. Can we please, please, please have the unsend option? I will beg! Gosh, that is so embarrassing, and I now have no way to correct it! I can't stress this enough, WE NEED UNSEND PLEASE!
