1. Delayed Message sending

   to have an option to send a message at a later time. say you have a meeting that you want to remind everyone of but just remembered at 11pm at night, it would be nice to right out your message and have it send at 8 am the next morning. just a way to write up a text when you remember to but don't have to send it right away but will automatically send later.

2. PGP Messaging support

   Surprised this hasn't been talked about more. I think PGP encrypted messages should be an option (For Pro Supporters) to use if the receiver is able to receive it. Privacy is always important and SMS is unencrypted; leaving our private chats open for malicious entities to capture our messages. Just a thought and feature I'd like to see come from Textra.

6. MMS bypass

   Text data bytes are sufficient to transfer files and anything. Proper header, file name, then send. Texting is usually unlimited by service providers, whereas MMS is limited or unavailable.

7. Delete

   I've noticed that a feature in messages has changed recently and I'd like to see it reinstated. When deleting a recent conversation the contact no longer drops further down in the list of messages. It's helpful to me to have my messages organized by the most recent conversation. If I'm deleting an irrelevant text, I don't need the contact to stay at the top of my messages.

8. In group chats, provide a visual indicator (glyph/icon) of the group message type (chat vs bulk) or button to change the message type

   First, some background:

   I often use group messaging. However, for some things, I prefer to send group messages in "chat" mode, and for other types of messages, I prefer to send them in "bulk" mode. Due to the large number of messages I send out about announcements to things (where I require no response), I have my global / default group messaging type set to "bulk". However, when I'm responding to another group chat (where I'm included as a recipient), I typically want to use the "chat" group messaging type. The problem is that I still tend to forget which mode the conversation is in before sending messages sometimes.

   Solution:

   What I'd like to propose is that a small visual indicator (e.g. a small glyph or icon) be added somewhere on screen to indicate the type of group messaging option in effect. Naturally, this need only appear when the active conversation is a group message. And I think a logical place to put this would be near the send button -- perhaps even as a small overlay on the send button.

   As an alternative, it would be even nicer if there was a toggle button/switch displayed on the group message compose interface that not only indicated the current type of group message mode in effect, but which would allow us to toggle / change the group messaging mode when tapped. This way, it would serve both as a convenient visual indicator and as a means to easily change the group message mode (with one tap) instead of the 7 taps it currently requires to change the group message mode. Again, putting the group messaging mode switch button near the send button seems like it may be a good place for it.

9. Tap Contact Bubble to view Contact Details quickly

   Currently it requires 4 taps to get to a Contacts Details, where I can view call history and info. It would be a welcome quality of life improvement to jump straight there by tapping on a contact portrait while looking at your conversation list to jump straight into those details.

12. contact pictures and themes

    Hey guys, love your app as always. Two things that would be really nice: a light and black theme mode, and an option to hide the contact's initials if there is no picture associated with the contact (just use name). I think it would clean up the interface.

13. partially copy function

    For example, if I get promo code which is 15digits of letter. I have to do as below.
    1. long press the MMS which is including promo code.
    2. choose new message on the option bar, and then whole text will be pasted in the new MMS writing mode.
    3. long press promo code in the MMS and copy it to clip board.
    4. if press back button, MMS will be saved and I have to delete this new MMS. or long press again in the MMS writing mode and choose all texts in the MMS and delete it and the press back button.

    as you noticed as above, it is very difficult to partially copy within the long texts. If TEXTRA apply partially copy function, it will be wonderful for me.

14. Badge Notifications not showing on Microsoft Launcher

    I love this app. It get me the closest to my Windows Phone messaging experience. The only issue I am having is the Notification Badge and numbers are not showing with the Microsoft Launcher.

    sim selection should be permanent. but textra change sim according to sms received sim. there should be complete settings for sim selection as in chompSMS
