  2. Textra toTextra

    I call it T2T..
    It's like an online mesaging app like viber, imessage, hangouts etc.
    Were textra itself detects people on your contact using textra. And allowing to send/receive messages using data or wifi connection.. Well its not really an idea but a suggestion because a lot of apps out there offering such.. So why can't textra? Everybody loves textra including me.. This would be a major addition to the application. Hoping the developers would take this as consideration for future updates.

  3. Bubble Animations

    It would be cool if we can choose from different effects on how the bubble would appear when receiving/sending messages.. i.e like when using iMesage. The bubble effect looks smooth and simple.

    Can you add zooming features ?
    ( pick out with two fingers on the text for exemple )

  7. Locked messages view

    Other messaging apps allow you to filter only locked messages, and read those separately. This would be a useful feature so you can view all of your locked messages for a particular contact.

  12. Hyperlinks, addresses

    As a Firefighter and EMT 911 dispatches the address to our phones via text, your app is the only app that does not allow you to click on the highlighted address and open up Google maps which is imperative. This is done all over THE NATION as well as dispatcher giving us the info..every other app but yours does this, you can not copy a phone number, ad it to contacts or call it...WHY??? WHY CAN'T YOU DO THIS, I LOVE TEXTRA AND EVERY PHONE HAS THIS OPTION IN THEIR STOCK MESSAGING APP AS WELL AS EVERY OTHER TEXT APP,…

  14. Remove/relocate "Mark all as Read"

    The location of the Mark All Read feature is in a slightly awkward place, directly beneath the settings & above What's New selections. I often mistakenly hit Mark All Read when I purposely left specific messages unread to return to later. Is there any way to, if not remove (as I'm sure many others find this feature useful) then perhaps relocate the option elsewhere within the app? Thanks in advance. ☺

  15. Reorder Quick Compose Contacts

    Reorder the displayed favorite contacts list so that the recent contacts from it, or the favorite contacts from it from whom there are messages, are at the top of the Quick compose's list. Optionally separate them from the rest of the favorite contacts with a subtle horizontal rule.

  16. automatic texts based on pre programmed rules

    If a rule can be created that can forwards a messege from my boss to all the office staff. or a rule that allows me to automatically reply with product pricing when someone asks for it.

  18. Keep texts notifications as new even after reboot.

    I like to keep notifications of unread text messages as new on my lock screen. But when I turn my phone off and on, the Textra notifications of unread messages disappear from the lock screen. You should make it so that notifications of unread text messages stay on the lock screen even after reboot.
