  1. swipe to change conversation

    like in Gmail application, swipe left or right in conversation view to move to the previous or next conversation.

    I suppose you would need to disable the swipe to show message details or have another way to access that.

  2. White menu issue - reproducible

    I can reproduce the problem consistently after killing and restarting Textra.

    If this information helps you solve this issue, would you consider implementing my suggestion from months ago? It is: to provide a quick way to erase an unsent draft text from the main screen without having to: click the contact, Select All, hit backspace, and then return to the list of texts.

    To reliably get a white menu on my phone:

    0) make sure you have at least two custom Vibration Patterns available 

    1) make sure Textra is not running

    2) open Textra

    3) bring up the settings menu

  3. Archive Conversations

    Textra team you have Android Messages beat in every other way! But of course! I would love to have the ability to Archive message threads and decluttter my SMS in box in Textra. What do you think? 🤔

    Want to hide a conversation without deleting it? Enter chat archive. When you archive a chat, it will be removed from the main screen and will be available only under the separate Archived screen. Surprisingly, this feature is present in Android Messages and not in the Textra app.

  4. Android messages for web

    The default messages app offers web integration so you can text from your computer. it would be sweet if you could make this work with Textra as well!

    Google released android messaging that does that now, See if you guys can use the API or something, it'll be great to have!

  10. Add the blacklist option to notification actions

    I get a ton of spam on SMS, and I have to go deep into the application to blacklist the sender. Please enable blacklisting as an option in notification actions so I can act on it in one go. Also, maybe a undo action after deleting or blacklisting just like Gmail offers would be good.

  13. Hide specific text's contents from the home list

    Holding the message in the home list > Customize > "Hide contents from plain view" setting toggle (Default off)

    Just an idea to get some more customization options for text messages. I definitely have work related stuff like passwords in my text field sometimes, could be cool to hide it.

    I really, really like Textra, but it doesn't appear to be compatible with my Samsung Gear S3 Frontier watch. Are you able to add compatibly for Samsung, and other smart watches?

    separate colors for Edge lighting on Samsung phones for different contacts. kind of like the LED colors. idk if it's possible but I'll pay even more money to make it happen if you could!

    Have the 2 vroom sound from the iPhone (incoming and outgoing on a conversation)

    Make Textra looks like the iOS 11 Interface...
    ....or just create an alternative theme
    With a centered contact pic above the name, have a blur effect on the contact's name, and why not have the conversation which begins on the top of the screen like iOS or Samsung.
