Default notification options for all group messages
Allow for notification options that applies to any group messages, not just specific group messages. That way you can have a different sound when you are not the sole recipient, and it automatically applies to all new group messages.

a little indicator for emojis
any possible way to add a small indicator for every emoji that has different options with that one type of emoji. like the person's or people, a small triangle or dot in the corner that I tells me that this emoji has various skintones. I'm pressing and holding on to emojis thinking there is different versiona and nothing happens.

Custom capitalization for contacts with poor eyesight
I have some older contacts as well as one who is legally blind. The legally blind contact asked if I can send to her in all capitals.
Could you create a custom all caps setting for sending to contacts with vision impairment?

heads and conversations
would like option of profile pictures next to sender and receiver of all conversations, not just group conversations
in share via textra, default screen should be active conversations not favorites

nougat heads up
I noticed that receiving more than 1 message from the same person would show '2 messages' instead of showing the two messages. It would be good to be able to show all messages received instead of showing how many messages were received.just like how the stock messenger does it.

toggle for car system clearing local notifications
a recent update to Textra included the feature for Textra to sense when a car system read a text message and therefore clears the local phone notification. I'd like this feature to be a toggle. I'd prefer the local phone notification stays, as I can't respond to most text messages while driving, and forget since the local notifications have cleared. if users could choose to opt-out of this feature that would be great.

Custom Background
Textra use is mainly due to the simplicity. But at least add a feature where it is an OPTION to customize the background. Those that don't want to use that feature don't have to. And from the looks of it, many of your consumers want this option. Are you going to flatly ignore the request of many customers who use your product?

Add and/or remove recipients from a group conversation.
I would like the functionality to add and/or remove people from a group chat that I have hosted. It will also be great if I can leave a conversation that I am not hosting/managing.
That would be really awesome.

Additional blacklisted options.
Option to delete the messages sent to the blacklisted phone number, so we don't see them. The ability to set a automated reply so people are aware they are blacklisted please.

Make Swipe Delete/Call Optional
Right now, swiping right on a conversation sets us up to delete it, while swiping left causes us to make a phone call. On both counts, these aren't accidents that I'd like to make, so I'd prefer that we have an option in the settings to turn off any effects from swiping on conversations. It's still a neat feature for people who do use it, so I definitely wouldn't ask for it to be removed altogether, though.

send scheduled message if there's no reply
I use scheduled messages pretty frequently (both in Textra and Boomerang). Boomerang has an option to send the scheduled message if there's no reply. I'd love the same in Textra. I imagine it working like this:
1) I schedule the message and check a box "Don't send if there's a reply"
2) When it's time to send, if there's a newer message from the contact, don't send the message (marking it as abandoned) otherwise, send the message.1 vote -
Indicate photo was received in notification
When you get a message with a photo as well as text accompanying it, there's no indication that a photo has been received. I often find myself reading a text via the notification and not opening the thread to find that photo. if the notification mentions a new photo is in the thread that would help me realize I need to open the app fully.

Send Delay
When you have send delay on, there should be a "send now" button. For example, when you are having a quick paced casual conversation with a friend you have the option to send instantly instead of waiting 4 seconds in between texts. But when you are texting your boss you still have that 4 second delay where you can still read over your text after you hit send.
I like having it on but it gets annoying when you have to wait a period with someone you talk to daily.
Also, when you quick reply when using "Android heads-up" it…
