Contact Picture for Groups
It's awesome we can name our group texts, but can we assign a unique picture to the group that shows up on the main screen with contact's individual pictures by their names in the actual conversation? Rather than smoothing their different pictures into the picture circle on the main screen.

different view for group texts
currently group texts are displayed with other single recipient texts. this can make your conversation list get very long, and hard to search through.
I would love to have the group texts show in their own view or tab.

Per-SIM character simplification
I have dual SIM and would really like for extended characters to be simplified on one of them, and to be kept Unicode on the other. This setting should be configurable per-SIM. (Google's Messenger allows that ;))

Autotask
Could a text message become a task in my calendar. Long pressing a message could bring up a menu with 'create task' as an option.

Timings
I would like there to be an option to where I can turn off seeing the timing of my sent and received messages. I can just swipe to the left of the conversation if I want to see when I sent or received a message. Please take this into consideration because seeing numbers and dated all throughout my conversations is unnecessary and annoying. Thank you!

Private box & Blacklisting
It would be nice to have a private box where personal and/or important messages can be stored for safekeeping. This could have password or pass code protection. Secondly, the option to manually input a number for blacklisting would be good as opposed to having to send or receive a message first from that number and then blacklisting it from the conversations page.

It would be great to be able to customize which range of colours are used for the auto-theme contacts option.

different group colors
I like the new option to have all conversations a random different color. Though, they're not so random - they're actually quite boring. You should make an option to have different "group of colors" like grays, brights, darks or seasonal.

I should be able to send a single message to a random group (not predefined) of people from my contacts, at a single click at the same time.

"D" for delivered and "R" for read
can you do the above like BBM has which I truly love because you know the message was delivered and read plus you can see when they are writing a reply.

Newest message at bottom setting
Have the option to display newest message at the bottom rather than the top. Helpful for some of the larger/taller displays.

Backup important messages (organize & cloud)
Should have a separate space to move important messages and organize in that space and also saved via cloud.

mute or unmute
Hello guys, it would be great to add a section where you can see who you have muted. Right now if i delete a message of someone i've muted i can't see anywhere who i have muted in order to unmute him/her.

Community Group chats
Group chats full of other people who have this app, but would have to sign up for that. it could be a thing for everyone, of course, ads for the non-pros.
