  1. Show messages I sent

    Show messages differently on the main screen when I sent them. When I page through all my conversations, I cannot tell apart the ones I received from the ones I sent. Other app(s) has Me: in front of the message to alert me it's one I sent. I want to quickly see whether the last message in a conversation was me or the other person.

  4. split group threads and keep original

    like another suggestion I want to see outgoing group messages AS WELL AS incoming group messages displayed in the individual threads AND in the group thread.

  5. Bug when Do Not Disturb is on

    Notifications still sound when Do Not Disturb for Favorite Contacts is on. Notifications will only disable if Alarms Only Or Ko Interruption is selected for Do Not Disturb.
    I'm using Huawei Mate 9. Please fix.

  11. multiple, disjoint, recipients in new message dialog

    I often want the send the same message to multiple people, but not in the same thread because 1, I dislike group messages, and 2, they often don't know each other. for example, I'm browsing Reddit and find a funny post, and want to share it with a couple friends who don't know each other. currently I have to go through the dialog multiple times. a "separate threads" check box would be great. thanks!

  12. Allow to write the message first!

    Kindly allow either to enter a recipient number or to write a message, instead of current trend of adding recipient first, followed by composing the message. As there are times when we want to compose a message first, then add recipient numbers.

  13. Better Android Wear support

    Currently when you receive a message you have the ability to check and respond. Witch is awesome, but afterwards if you would like to see that message or any other you have to pull you phone out. It would be nice to have a full version of Textra for Wear. That way you could start conversations and go back to old ones also.

  17. Heads-Up Notification Handled by System

    Would it be possible to implement a feature where you can let the system UI handle the heads-up notifications? This is mainly to have done consistency with the notifications of other apps being handled with the system UI.

    At least provide more customization options to the heads-up notifications.

  19. NOT mark as read when notification ignored

    i get notifications on my home screen for incoming messages and sometimes am too busy with work or errands so i swipe it off the home screen to clear my screen and go to read my messages when i get time. on my phone default messaging app when i swipe (ignore) the notification, it leaves all those messages as unread but when i do the same on this app it marks ALL of those messages as read so then i just forget about checking my messages. this is my main problem stopping me from switching to using this as my…

  20. Move the Sim selection button

    Having the Sim selection button right next to send makes it too easy to accidentally change the Sim before sending. It would be better if it were moved away from the send button.
