  1. Fetch icons for known IDs

    It would be nice if the app could automatically fetch badges or icons for popular or known messages sending IDs. For instance banks or E-tailers like Amazon or other known institutions. It would be easier to identify such messages if it were automated.

    when I activate split screen on my ZTE Axon 7, I get a toast saying that split screen is not supported. please add support.

  4. Media section for links

    Love this app and I love the media section that allows me to see all the photos shared in a conversation. It would be awesome if there were another section under this media tab for Internet links. Would love to be able to see all links in one place instead if scrolling through the conversation. Thank you for the great app!

  5. number highlights

    your app is perfect but i had like it more if you could add color option for numbers that appear in a text for example if someone send me infomation describing someone and include some contacts or address, thus numbers to be in different color will help to find it more easy and make UI good to look

    Would be nice to have this option if you plan to change your phone and want your messages to go with you over to your new phone :)

  8. Highlight numbers and digits in the text with different color.

    Whenever user receives a text with a bunch of numbers in it, she's having hard time extracting the numbers from it at a glance.

    And since texting today is used mainly for 2F authentication, this happens all the time.

    So it'd be great if numbers were highlighted or even tapable.

  9. Option for showing delivery reports

    I think this makes the design of the app feel a little more cluttered than it needs to if you have then enabled. It could be called "show message status" and it would hide or show the "sent" or "delivered" text under each sent message. It's a simple feature but I think I would improve the app greatly for those of us who use delivery reports.

  10. Select which contacts show up in Direct Share

    self explanatory. it would save space if we only have one or two people that we generally share things with and it would save time if they're not the top of the current list of recents.

    Je pense que ce serait bien de pouvoir programmer des messages sur Textra.
    La programmation serait d'écrire un message, sélectionner l'heure à laquelle on veut programmer son envoi et qu'il s'envoie à telle heure.

  12. Replace the group text number with photos if available if it's only for 2 people.

    Hi, I love your app! But with the last update, you changed it so that in a group text, it shows the number of recipients instead of photos attached to the contact. I get how it's an advantage to see the number of recipients, but when I send a message to two people, like for example my sons, I used to see their smiling faces side by side, and now I just see "2". I know it's really minor, but it was a little thing that I just loved! I hope you can bring that back for texts to 2…

  15. Bold Text For Unread Messages

    I would really like to see the messages I haven't read or opened yet to be in bold. It would be easier to distinguish between read and unread. Other than that, Textra is by far the best SMS/MMS messaging app available! I will never use a stock messaging app ever again!

    The button is very near to send button. Either it should be on opposite side to send button
    OR
    Change its setting that one should hold it litter longer to convert to sim2

    so mistakenly sending msgs from wrong sim should be avoided
