  1. Reply Reminder: Small dot

    I was thinking it would cool if there was a small dot that reminded you that you needed to reply. For example if you looked at a message, but couldn't reply at the time, then this would tell you that the other party is still waiting on you to say something. I think this would be great because I for one sometimes forget to respond after looking at it. Also this should be customizable to a per contact basis, so that it is not set for everyone.     The addition of an RGB slider to select custom theme colors would be most welcome. This would also allow users to achieve a 'pure black' theme.

  5. Add ability to select an email address from an enter in my phone's address book

    Right now, I have an entry called Andy for my phone. It contains my phone's phone#along with two email addresses. However, if I bring up Textra and begin to create a text to myself, it only lists my phone#. It doesn't show the two email addresses from that entry.

    I often times want to email myself information or pics to my email address, but I can't do that just by entering "Andy" in the To: forks and selecting an email address (rather than my phone#, which IS down).

  8. Slide down to reply for floating notification...

    The floating notification is great, but we can only see the first line of the message and it takes the whole screen when replying. Why not add something like sliding down the notification, see the message fully and reply right there and then below the message? Make it that it does not close automatically after one reply. Sometimes, we need a lot of replies to just one only contact, you know.

  9. Enhance Custom Vibrations

    Allow the user to specify exact timings in milliseconds for custom vibration patterns. Also Allow user to provide timing list (vibrate, pause, vibrate, ...)

    Example

    200,100,300
    above would vibrate for 200ms, pause for 100, then vibrate again for 300ms

  11. Customize message thread and message list!

    This feature would make Textra SMS a million times better! Sometimes I wish there was an option to add photos or colors to the backgrounds of my message threads/message list. Go SMS has this feature, it would be great!

  12. Periodic Auto Message

    This feature would be useful for a number that constantly updates you based on a reply that you send. For instance, Chase and Bank of America send you your current balance when you send the phrase "BAL". The ability to automatically send the phrase a few times a day would help keep easy track of balances.

  13. Simplify attachment process

    The "+" opens the keyboard and then becomes an "x" which must be pressed again to revert back to a "+" to add attachments. If I'm typing already, this isn't an issue as I only need to press a single button. It is however annoying if I've read the text in a preview window, especially on nougat and I just want to send a quick picture, gif(which I love), or emoji. Maybe a swipe up to open the keyboard and keep the "+" for attachments...
