    Could it be possible to find a way to select favorites contacts and to put them always on the top of the conversation list ?

  5. contact pictures in chat view

    it would be cool to have an option to view contact pics when you're in the conversation view chatting with someone. if you need an example, Android nougat does this with their default messaging app. textra already has contact pics in the chat list, just not in individual chats when sending and receiving messages. if the option exists then I must have missed it!

  10. No Unread Notification on App Icon & Notification Swipe = read messages?

    ust downloaded Textra and love the app, but 2 things are preventing me from making it the default app.

    1) When I get a text, if I swipe away the notification, why does it count that swipe as a read message? How can I swipe away the notification without it marking the message as read?

    2) Unlike the Samsung default messaging app, the Textra icon doesn't display the number of unread messages. So I have to go into the app to see how many unread messages there are, if any.
    How can I change this?

  11. Edit Backgrounds and Pull-Down notifications.

    Basically, you would be able to edit your background wallpaper in the message. I haven't seen this being able to be done on this. Also, it would be nice to have a pull down notification so you can respond without having to leave the app you're in.

    it would be great to have bubbles outlined! especially dark colors. black, blue, red, etc text bubbles with a white, or colored outline would be so cool to look at!

    There already is the possibility to automatically save photos in gallery. It would be better if we could choose the save folder location (for example to store on SD card or in chosen album)

  16. Change Group Conversation Icon Back To Show Multiple Images

    Prior to the v3.31 update, the icon for group conversations would show the contact photos of all participants (up to 4). After the update, it just shows a number indicating how many people are in the conversation. Please change this feature back or add a setting to go back to the previous design.

  17. Preserve custom notification sounds in group messaging

    It would be nice if messages in a group text still used the customized notification sounds for people I've set up, and use the default sound for those I haven't.

  18. Message notification and message privacy

    Would be nice to be able to set a notification so that it shows who it came from but doesn't show a preview of the message. Currently you get either new message pop up or you get a name and the message too. A little more privacy on that front would be nice.

  20. Separate Color Options between Text and Group Chat

    The implementation of the new color per contact feature isn't exactly what I had in mind when I voted for it. I would prefer to be able to set different colors for each contact in a group chat, but have the option for that to not affect the corresponding thread for that person (single text between you and them).
