  2. Schedule message reminder

    I would like textra to add a feature that will allow you to mark a message as unread and or schedule a reminder of a message at a later time. Often times people forget to respond to messages as a result being too busy at the moment.

  3. Private Messages

    Other apps let u have a dummy notification for certain contacts. Then u type in a passcode to view the real message. Could u please implement this? Then it would be 5 stars!

  6. Group Messaging as SMS

    hello, I can only send a group message with mms. but sometimes I want to send the same sms to different people. Could you please do an update and activate his option.
    I would like to select a lot of people and send them the same message only via sms.

    In scrolling through gifs we encountered ones with naked women, and we do not find that appropriate for an app with an E rating.

  8. Recap on SPLIT THREAD SMS

    I love this idea, and had the option on an old text app I USED to use. But a great twist to this is I'd like to have the option PRIOR to sending a group text, is to send either as GROUP Or SPLIT THREAD! I believe this would put your app in a GREAT marketing position, with a great selling point.

  11. Detect if a sim is disabled/inactive in dual sim phones

    Hello, love Textra! I'm a paid user for the past year or more. I like the dial sim support (using OnePlus 3), but, it would be great if the 1/2 toggle at the bottom was only enabled when both sim cards are enabled/active/available.

    I keep a roaming card in my 2nd slot for travel but have the slot inactive in phone settings. With the 1/2 toggle fight next to the send button, I sometimes tap it by mistake and Textra tries to send on my disabled sim 2. Sometimes I don't notice for a while which delays me resending on…

  12. Black theme + highlighted text (Gboard gesture delete)

    Currently using Gboard as default keyboard, and "gesture delete" is a feature I use regularly. Unfortunately, when using this feature with the black theme enabled, the "highlight" behind the text is barely visible. Would love to be able to change the background color of just the text input area to a color that shows the text highlight better.

  13. light and night mode and quick reply notification size

    Hi guys thanks for your awesome app i love it.
    This app will be even better if the time of light and night mode could be changed.
    plus, the size of quick reply notification window could be reduced and enlarged with fingers ,for example do something else while it still there like messenger app.
    Please do something about that.

    It should have an option 2 add delay in group chat i.e delay after every 5 sms of 5-60 seconds etc etc.

  16. personalising group texts

    when you send a single text to a large group (ie John, Mary, peter) , the text cannot include the recipients name (otherwise everyone will receive the same name) what would be great is if they're was a way for the app to auoto insert the persons name in the example below:

    hi {contact name} do you want to go for a drink tonight?

  17. Set sound for outbound messages

  18. Bug..

    In the privacy settings i turned OFF "Show Message Text" & "Show Contact" and in the notification it still shows their name on the bottom of the notification because it says "Reply to (name)"
