  1. Emailing Forwarded Pictures

    Hello!

    I happened to run in a situation where I wanted to email myself a picture I received in a text message for work purposes.
    I: Highlight the photos, click triple dot icon, share as email, clicked Gmail, and there the email was all set.

    It then doesn't send the actual picture though. It sends:

    Conversation with zelklen (+1-000-000-0000)

    [3/22/17 2:24 PM] zelklen: You received a picture.

    For privacy, and sake of saying it, the number is replaced with Zero's to keep personal information confidential.

    It sends the text notification that the phone would see to notify receiver a picture…

  3. Create message without recipient

    why do I have to put a recipient first before making a message? Why can't I make a message first and put the recipient later on?

  4. Import previously sent texts

    The app only imports my received texts. I would like it to have the option to import sent texts as well. I have recently switched and it would be nice, as it adds context to many conversations.

  5. Color for people bubbles

    Hello, I just started using Textra and I thinks it's amazing. Instantly, replaced my default app and had my family do the same. I just had an idea which I thought would make the app more aesthetically pleasing. When we pick a custom color for a person (Bob Smith for example) then the bubble outside in the conversation menu should also be that color. I change Bob's messages to blue. So there would be a blue "BS" bubble next to my individual conversation with Bob Smith. Or maybe you could just manually pick the color for the BS bubble like…

    I save all my txt for later referral. There should be a search this conversation and search all txt. I should not have to do it manually

  7. Add quick option in text composition screen to allow sender to switch between group chat responses or bulk responses

    Currently, if I compose a group message and want the replies to come only to me, I have to go back out of the text and into the settings in order to change to the bulk option. If composing another text and I want the replies to go to the entire group, again, I have to go out of the text, into settings, and switch to chat. It would be so helpful to have a button that allows the sender to determine how replies should be distributed for that current text.

  8. Quick Compose Revision

    The Quick Compose notification is unecisarally large. It would be more convenient if you could somehow make the notification slimmer in the drop down. If it's not doable, that's cool. I get it. But there are other apps that have smaller, if only slightly, notifications. Thanks!

  10. Word suggestions

    It would be helpful to be able to edit the dictionary. For instance show cant as can't etc. Also much used expressions as IMHO could be other than INGO OR MIJO..

    Please add option so you don't receive a vibration during call. The option on the phone is set to off but the app over-rides this setting.

  19. Floating notification

    THIS APP DOES NOT NEED BACKGROUND DESIGNS OR FONT CUSTOMIZATION. IT NEEDS A FUNCTIONAL FLOATING NOTIFICATION POPUP.

    I dont understand what good it does me to have a notification with name and text come up on the lock screen?? My phone is locked so other people cannot see my business. HOWEVER, when i unlock my screen, there should be a floating notification with the choice to quick reply or dismiss, just like in chomp. I dont want to have to go into the app itself or pull from the drop down menu to see the notification.
