  2. Why so much work to delete a conversation?

    Shouldn't have to swipe and then press the garbage can twice. Make it easier, with fewer steps to delete.

  3. Make It Easier to Blacklist Numbers

    Let me start by saying - I absolutely adore Textra. The interface, customization, performance, everything. Everything is just phenomenal. Love it so much, I bought pro.

    Anyways I do have one minor bugaboo, though. Why in the world can you only add numbers to the Blacklist from existing threads? Like, why do I have to go through the hassle of A) adding the unknown number to my contacts B) starting a thread with said number and C) selecting Blacklist by their name?

    Seems like a pretty jarring oversight which can easily be remedied by simply allowing users to select straight…

  5. Keep the last consulted page

    I think it's better if texta keep the last consulted page, all conversation or particular conversation when i go back on the app. Because for the moment it's always all conversation.

  9. Please don't use shady tricks to get me to click the ad

    It really winds me up when sites or apps use shady UI tactics to get me to click their adverts - like rapidly sliding the ad into view in place of the top (most likely to be clicked) SMS just before I click it. It's happened 3 or 4 times already with Textra for ads I don't care about. I'm sure your Adventists wouldn't be happy knowing most of their click throughs were fake, or at least essentially useless.

  10. Sim selection

    Think I better or different placement of which sim card to use. Or maybe if you long press the sim card icon you can set a default sim for that concession or contact. Another alternative I guess would be the ability to hide the icon? Not sure the best solution

    I am finding I'm accidently tapping the sim card icon, and the message gets sent by the other sim, which then confuses the recipient of my message.

    You should update it every months and add some new Gestures and Colors and looks.. At list for Pro Users like me..

  12. For Sharing. Videos/photos/files

    I share a lot of videos and photos, instead of having to retype the phone number or name, could we have the most recents or favorites pop up instead of our whole contact list.

  13. Swipe actions in the conversations list.

    For example, swiping right over a name in the chat list 'mark as read', swipe left 'delete conversation' (with an eventual confirmation button). Even make the swipes customisable.

  15. Better filtering when choosing recipient

    I don't know if this is due to textra's code or if you are using preexisting code, but searching for a recipient isn't efficient. For example, I have a contact whose first name is Zeynep. Not a lot of competition for names that start with Z. When I type Z, I see contacts that have no z in them at all. Ze, still no Z names. Zey, still don't see Zeynep at the top. Only when I type Zeyn does Zeynep make it to the top of the list.

  17. Custom notification sounds uniqe by you

    Different Notification Sounds
    Would it be too much to ask for the ability to have different notification sounds other than the stock ones in android 7.0 on Nexus 6p? Every notification sounds is almost exactly the same and I can not tell the difference between emails or the texts I get in your app. Even when I change them. Android 6.0 on Galaxy Note 4 had a great variety, all different so it was easy. I adore your app and that's the only thing I could see was missing!

  20. Offer users a way to get support

    There used to be a way to submit a support question through the app. Now the "Support" option says "For all your questions and suggestions," however the only options once you get there are to "give feedback" or "post an idea."

    The problem I'm having is that the Heads-Up Floating Notifications don't work at all on my Samsung Galaxy S5, even though they worked great on my S6.
