Notifications for muted group chats.
Simply put, I forget to look at my muted group chats and unless I open the app I won't remember having been in one. Having a lock screen notification would be a helpful reminder.

Always on display
On the new Androids there's a "always on display" feature and with textra the notification is always 1 whether u have a new message or nun at all I guess because it's only ment for the default messaging app so my idea was maybe if possible make textra and the notification compatible with the "always on display" feature

read senders name aloud
My favorite part of default Android app is the option to announce the senders name aloud. I would love to see this added to Textra.

it would be great if theres an option to group messages of known contacts from unknown contacts.

Your Own Textra Avatar!
Here's what you could do... maybe make it so when someone texts you, you see their contact picture. There should also be an option to see your own photo too. You could also add an option to customize your own cartoon or "Mii like" character, so you could see the character when you send texts.

Sfondo conversazioni e emoji
Salve, volevo chiedervi una cosa. Vorrei avere la possibilità di personalizzare lo sfondo delle conversazioni e inoltre se possibile, vorrei che le emoji quando vengono inviate senza contenuto scritto, qundi quando vengono inviate soltanto le emoji queste si ingrandiscono come l'effetto iphone. Grouping all messages from unknown contacts in a single thread
Its better to create a single thread for all messages from unknown numbers, messages from network carriers and promotional/advertising messages. So the messaging window will be less cluttered. Also provide an option to set custom notification tone for unknown number messages.

Add horizontal and vertical padding settings
if you've ever tried AW SMS this is the same feature. Basically you can change how much extra on the message box there is, so this current version has very little vertical and horizontal padding height; distance from the text to the end of the message box. This customization would be a great addition.
